i personally find lots of posts annoying on here, i thought we had moved on from being personal/judgemental enough to tare people but guess not This. You can't make everyone happy and this is a forum. Don't judge and just move on indeed. I'm personally often annoyed by some peoples bad grammar for example (and I'm probably one of them too in other peoples eyes, lol) but I respect the way people are at least trying to form a sentence in English. You don't go bitching to them. I personally don't really care what people post unless they're acting like complete offensive vaginas. |

I get it and I personally think it's a bit annoying too, but on the other hand you can also just ignore it and scroll past it. And in the end, people can post what they want as long as they're not being offensive. Everyone can post what they want indeed If anyone is finding the daily posts interesting or useful then absolutely they can post their support of the them. Just thought that I would state that I found them annoying and less than useful at this point. If he wants to continue posting then by all means he can. I won't say anything more. Figured it was worth saying and so far no one has said that they were interested in them so personally I think that means I may have had a point. |

That was 2 weeks and out right...I would look back but... i personally posted the chart position in the last 2 weeks on a sunday,in this GIANT 10 page thread. I feel for you why are people posting on a public forum if it means you have to search a thread!! 10 pages looking for dates 7 days apart!!.. some people are just out of order I'm assume you are being sarcastic. But yes I do find it somewhat annoying and as you say, as you try to say I shouldn't that posted an opinion, people can post whatever they want. Just posting my opinion on those "chart updates." If you are interested in them then by all means ask for them to continue. No one is saying they found them useful just that he had every right to post if he felt like. Just thought that he deserved to know that, at least, I found them annoying and superfluous. If you found them engaging...feel free to tell him also. After all you can post whatever you want and so can I |

Oh but they do bitch , I have said for years I don't care about how I type , and sometimes to prove it , I actually use proper paragraphs and spelling for fun so the gestapo or thread police , gramma police , ECT ECT. Don't BITCH AND MOAN .... I always thought the forum is like talking in a bar , you don't worry about the queens ENGLISH when discussing rock and roll in a bar , but some here when they don't like a point you make will go out of there way to BITCH about sentence structure ,spelling , grammar ... Petty shit ,and some of those are still around , and yea they still bitch ,,stick around long enough you will see who does that . Me I know I went to college , I don't need to prove it in a forum that is about a band universally known for not caring about much , least of all the way they talk or type for that matter , As for this . On topic so the thread police don't say im hijacking a thread ...... Anybody should be able to post anything they want about chart position or otherwise ,it is why we have mods , they will deem what is proper and what is not,, or if its silly or offensive they will PLAYPEN it they seem to do a very good job  so if people don't like the clutter they can simply move on to another thread don't read it , if not then they can deal with it . Seems simple , but then again......... |

Maybe the fact this is a frequently visited thread means people are looking at lamboasis updates which i found engaging... maybe they'll stop now he know you and doctor find them annoying... |

Like me Me neither, but sometimes people try to form a sentence and it's 3 words and verbals missing and all, and it's hard to understand. And I imagine that must frustrate both the writer and the reader. I admire people for trying though, I think it's great if people want to learn a new language. I'm not a native English speaker either, and I often feel like I made some mistakes in my posts, but can't put my finger on them. I know how hard it is. Anyway, this was just meant as an example to point out a thing that annoys me but which you can ignore by scrolling past it and without replying. I wasn't trying to complain about grammar. |

It sold 14,500 copies after the first week. Totally a Top 20 (#17 indeed) on sales chart. The problem was Spotify, ITHOTM was like #200.

Well, #17 most bought song that week in the UK. Not bad, pretty similar to The Death of You And Me on the first week, I think. #15 vs. #17. Now it sold around 20k/25k, i guess. TDOYAM is a silver single(200k copies sold, according to wikipedia), I don't think ITHOTM will match that. EDIT: What a Life sold 15k copies on the first week. The problem is that ITHOTM is already out from the chart. |

Ok, I went to the BPI website: TDOYAM isn't silver, so Wikipedia is mistaken.
Anyway, WAL is a silver silver. The success of the song was impressive. First silver song since The Importance of Being Idle. Longest chart run since The Importance of Being Idle. According to the Official Chart Company.
