Finally caved and bought DTD on itunes, wasn't in a rush as I bought the vinyl single and was dissapointed with the lack of download code. Anyway this song is fantastic, the last b-side to be better was probably Shout It Out Loud way back in 2002! I definitely prefer DTD to SIOL! |

I've been jamming away on this song on my electric guitar and it's really improved my affection for this song. I love it now!
I don't how Noel does it, it's such a simple riff and vocal melody, but all together it's just amazing.

Nothing really interesting, but I've just heard Do The Damage in the background during the latest Top Gear episode (part 2 of Patagonia special)... it's around 23 minutes into the show. I heard that too, although it was losing the battle against 48:13 from Kasabian - they must have used most of the songs from that album across those 2 episodes. |

think its better than the A side. it grows on me. I still really like it. Fun fun tune. Just as good as the A-side as you mentioned. To think this was ALMOST the first track on Chasing Yesterday before Noel reworked Riverman which was going to be a b-side. Guess they sorta flipped spots.  |

Yeah, I'm still loving it too. Favourite Noel b-side for a long, long time. Although 'Do The Damage' is more my sort of tune, I've got to say that I think 'In The Heat Of The Moment' edges it as the better song. Enjoying them equally at the moment though... good times ahead. I have a niggling feeling this could be a really top album from Noel. He's ticking all my boxes so far.

Well.. I don't know if anyone is still interested in the right lyrics but, in instagram, Noel's wife (saspg) said to another user (courtriumph)that the correct ones are "If love´s what it's all about, it's soul I'm chopping out" ...
