Soooo Anyone worked out the chords yet? I'll bet georgiarose on youtube has. Edit: Holy crap...he doesn't have a video up about either of them. Guess he's not a fan of the couple songs Noel has released so far. Edit 2: Nevermind I found the ITHOTM one. lol

There's gold in the city Never quite enough now to pay the rent You coulda had it all But the pity is everything you're gonna need is heaven sent
Maybe the dream that we had is gone The people 'round here are like a setting sun They're bigging you up when they're knocking you down But they can't stop me from loving you.
Do you mind butterfly please don't flutter by You do the damage kid If loves what it's all about a soul I can show you now You do the damage kid
Like a stone I was falling Will anybody come get me out of here I waited in the rain for the call and will anybody come get me out of here
Maybe the dream that we had is gone The people 'round here are like a setting sun They're bigging you up when they're knocking you down But they can't stop me from loving you.

Apologies for being out the loop, but I can't find the single on itunes, only sold individually as part of the album. What's going on there? sorry yes is just individual tracks to buy It's available as a proper digital single on the Noel gallagher store tho

Finally managed to buy Do The Damage from the Italian iTunes store.
It's not sold as a single though, you have to buy from the Deluxe Edition of the album...

What a shit release, it's only available in the english store. So far, HFB 2 is highly disappointing
It's like they're begging for you to illegally download it.

Vinyl or digital download is the only way to buy music often enough vinyl comes with a digital download. CDs are for fat 16 yr olds...

I like it, it's a great little B-Side number. To me it sounds as though it's really going to take off after the first sax solo but just doesn't quite get there, but it's got a great melody and is pretty rocking. Should sound great if he plays it live.
It's got my hopes up about CY, if this is one of the cast offs then the album should be a belter. It's fair to say that Noel has fucked up tracklistings before though......

Edit 2: Nevermind I found the ITHOTM one. lol Yea, I have been checking his channel as he's usually very quick to upload tutorials of new Noel songs. I just wondered if any pro-active bastard had figured out the chords the day the song came out as after 10 listens or so i had the urge to blast it out of my own amps Now after many, many listens with both of the new songs I think they're both about on par. If A Day In The Life is 10/10 and whatever 1D have shat out recently is 1/10 I'd give these both 8/10 and they've definitely sent the hype for the album into overdrive in my head

Ridiculous Not to launch off into a tirade about how the music business worked better in the old days, but I think kids should buy more albums physically, doesn't matter if it's CD or vinyl. I just can't grasp how they listen to their top 20 playlist on spotify and say 'music is my life'. I'm quite young and not a single friend of mine buys albums, be it digitally, on CD or vinyl.

I would think what they are doing is pushing the deluxe album sales
If you want the single you have to see the album (I.e the single isn't a different entity on iTunes ) so a lot of people will pre order the album to get the tracks
if they buy the track as a single track itunes will allow you to the buy the album at the cost minus that track at a later date

I use Spotify and its brilliant for discovering new music to listen to. But CDs is what I was brought up on and so it is embedded in me that that is the main option to buy music. Plus its nice to look at a large collection on your shelf, rather than it just being on a soulless harddrive.
I always buy the CD when it comes out. I can only access Spotify on my laptop so can't obviously take it around with me, so CDs are always the way to go for me. Plus the adverts are as annoying as hell on Spotify.
