That was beautiful. Can't wait to hear the full song as well as the rest. Still say he should have done ITHOTM too.

Thanks for all the info. Looking forward to hearing/seeing the full thing!! I had hoped for at least 1 new song though. The series is a retrospective based on a specific album. Obv bit strange for noel really as he only has 'one' album and this is the bigger picture promotion for the second but is what it is. If the whole or near to the whole thing gets broadcast I'd say best interview you've heard this year with him and that's even without threatening to call people Cun ts for asking shit questions (which won't be broadcast

Other bits I can remeber His plan after this album is not to take a big break Oh Noel, you big tease. But we all know what will happen, big long tour = knackered out Noel, see you in 2018. He must have teased a quick follow up for the last few albums now. Never quite happens, though. Hopefully the temptation to release another album before he hits 50 (May 2017) is strong. What are you talking about? I can't think of him promising a quick follow up for at least a couple of albums. During DOYS he was threatening 5 years. And during HFB he made it clear that he didn't feel like he had to rush into the next thing because he was fortunate to have an audience that would wait for him.

At the time of HFB he announced that a second (and third!) album had already been recorded then didn't release it. I call that some pretty serious teasing gdforever. I can only speak for myself but I had the fire switched on high and the Barry White vinyls out...

Little bit more info: The Right Stuff is left over from the AA album, perhaps why it's more 'out there' as the interviewer described it. Apparently a cracking solo on Riverman. Noel's written an entire album of instrumentals that he hasn't yet been able to put words to for a 'side project.' The interviewer asked if it was for a movie soundtrack to which he said it wasn't and it will be an album if he can put write the lyrics for it. Was all rather odd and intriguing. Everybodys on the Run sounds absolutely brilliant on the acoustic with the keys - makes me want him to play TCT even more with the choir and strings

I can only speak for myself but I had the fire switched on high and the Barry White vinyls out... Oh...I guess I thought of it kind of different. Noel did the work on that but it didn't turn out. I don't remember anything about a third album. I was thinking more about Noel saying he was planning on going back into the studio soon after the current tour was finished. Noel has generally maintained that he needs at least a year off before even planning to go back in the studio. Personally I still don't believe that Noel didn't release the AA album for any other reason other than the fact that he didn't like what the AA did to the songs. And based off the WAL remix and to a lesser extent the IIHAG remix I'm personally not too upset.

fuck yeah! I wonder why he's never played EOTR in acoustic before. It sounds brilliant from that short video! We're waiting for three years, and we finally will hear it. Very excited about Broken Arrow too, one of my favourites of the latest record. The demo version is fabulous.

I don't remember anything about a third album. stopcryingyourheartoutnews.blogspot.co.uk/2011/07/noel-gallagher-wrote-third-solo-album.html?m=1Noel's written an entire album of instrumentals that he hasn't yet been able to put words to for a 'side project.' He's already starting to tease us again! You're right that towards the end of an album cycle he gets tired and wants to take a break. But earlier in the album cycle he talks the big game about having the next album finished. He said it during the DOYS tour and mentioned the "aka" songs.

Question of the day was ' would you rather be a bald Rod Stewart or a fat Mick Jagger?'

Wonder if he's had a few singing lessons, his voice is the best and most controlled it's ever been
