He never said it was the cover but it is on his website, iTunes, stream services etc. All around the internet. I highly doubt that he changes it (although I expect him to do).

Noel Gallagher has always been a little hesitant to blow his horn in the last couple of years. I don't think he believes his stuff is crap...if he did, he wouldn't release it.

I wasn't around on here in 2011 so I have no idea. I have watched the press conference though, and although he wasn't jumping in the air, he didn't sound like he wasn't very enthusiast (damn I've been spelling that word in the Dutch way all along)

Look for yourselves... There's 3 versions of the artwork already. One deluxe with diagonal black lines, one non deluxe with vertical lines and the iTunes version has diagonal lines and a completely different picture of Noel looking sideways rather than head on.
Watch the Facebook video again. At 7mins he mentions how "it will all become apparent when you see the album". The artwork collectively will take shape over time.

Here's my second idea for a better cover. I've found this picture on Facebook, it must be from the same batch of the others. I've deleted some writings with Photoshop and I've added the title. I admit I really like this photo, it does look like something that Brian Cannon can do... This is great as well, you forum members are some creative people I swear

Can you (or someone) post the three artworks?

So there are now 3 different versions of the album cover knocking about now. And still there is 5 months left till release, I'm sure it's going to be subject to some changes, even if they're negligible.

All attempts in this thread are better than the real cover. And I'm not even joking.

I think I am coming to accept that Noel has very little interest in the aesthetics of his products which is really very sad. He seems to outsource the responsibility for them and has very little vision for what he wants. I had hoped with Brian Cannon in charge of it it would work out but my reaction is simply "that's it?"
It's boring but tbh I still prefer it to the HFB one. I REALLY loathe the HFB cover. Muddy disgusting thing. I think this one is boring and agree with those that say that it is amateurish but at least the color doesn't make me wanna puke.
But it's the same as the videos. Noel's pretty hands off and doesn't ever seem to have any inspiration about the "look" that he wants connected to the music.
Gotta say though. For someone that hates having his picture taken and never wanted an Oasis album to be one with the band on the cover...why the hell is he agreeing to be on the cover of all his singles and albums? But then he said he never wanted Oasis to do a self titled album then his very first solo album was self titled.
It's got his name on it. They don't really need to have Noel boredly looking from on the cover to make people aware that it's a product connected with Noel.
The single artwork at least isn't AS boring but looks like it popped out of the 80's.

New artwork is on the way. My sources telling me that Noel scraped off the Chasing Yesterday title and changed it a little. Here's my attempt on the artwork after i heard the title

I can confirm that Brian Cannon is not involved with this project.
A Mr Lawrence Watson produced the album+singles+tour artwork. I very good friend has informed me.

Those pictures are definitely Lawrence Watson as I've seen them copyrighted to him. Strange Brian Cannon himself said he was doing it (obv it could've been dropped) It would be very strange to change artwork now guess when the single ships if its the same as what it is now we can predict the album will stay the same?
