Yes, everybody just calm down a bit. The Daily Star has all the journalistic integrity of a dead horse.

Surely we will hear from the man himself who the producer is on Monday.

Pat McCarthy? Who worked with REM Good shout - Reveal and Up are really well produced. Around The Sun has major problems with songs but maybe a wee bit underproduced, but still good production I say. Or it could be Noel himself - he's Irish after all!

I'm sure there'll be a press release on Monday morning, if not earlier. Matt Everett (assuming it's the same one) does the music news on the Shaun Keaveney breakfast show, which Noel has appeared on before, on BBC 6 Music so I guess there's a good chance the single will get airplay then. It won't make sense to have a Q&A on an album nobody has any info about.

Sardy is Noel's answer for his George Martin. Problem with Oasis, they never went a total different direction with producers. Mark "Spike" Stent tired, but no producer could work with Little James, Sunday Morning Call, Where Did it All Go Wrong for album track roster.

I mean, on the contrary, there was plenty in 'Where Did It All Go Wrong' for a producer to work with, if in fact a producer had realised he didn't have much work to do at all. Just let the emotion and feeling pent up in the song speak for itself. Basically just put this down on record...

Falling Down as well would be good to hear live. Maybe on tour for HFB2

Just let the emotion and feeling pent up in the song speak for itself. Basically just put this down on record... Don't get me wrong, but Spike Stent more dance/pop music producer, "What A Life" or "Falling Down" would've fit better for his style. Throwing him to produce bunch of mellow rock ballads is like dressing for a rock concert, but ending up at musical opera instead. Dress for the wrong event. The songs weren't there on "Standing On The Shoulders of Giants", but a few like "Go Let It Out", "Gas Panic", "Roll it Over" and possible "Who Feels The Love". Overall, the album had weak songs for an album testing for sound. After that album; Oasis played it safe and creativity besides "Falling Down" never stepped outside with a different approached. I would loved to seen another Wall of Sound record or a Raw power sounded record or liked Noel did on his first solo album with creative layering.

Its a shame Noel felt like they had to include token gesture up tempo songs to make it sound more "oasis."

I think new single is coming out some time in November, maybe December, second single in February or March and new album not before April, that's typical Noel. But we love him and can't wait!

I think HFP 300th day (27/10) theory/guess/knowledge is right tbh.
Were getting the album announement 13/10 and the charity q&a is the 3/11 to me that leaves 3 weeks for the singles first play and release
I'd guess first single play either 13/10 during the announcement (or after as its early 3pm he could go if to xfm and they play it on the 7pm show) or 20/10 then it'll come out to buy 27/10
