What? you be disappointed it wasn't another Dave Sardy produce album? Sardy is Noel's answer for his George Martin. Problem with Oasis, they never went a total different direction with producers. Mark "Spike" Stent tired, but no producer could work with Little James, Sunday Morning Call, Where Did it All Go Wrong for album track roster. I do worry sometimes. I mean, on the contrary, there was plenty in 'Where Did It All Go Wrong' for a producer to work with, if in fact a producer had realised he didn't have much work to do at all. Just let the emotion and feeling pent up in the song speak for itself. Basically just put this down on record... Totally agree, I think a stripped down Oasis album would have been perfect. Especially SOTSOG

I think new single is coming out some time in November, maybe December, second single in February or March and new album not before April, that's typical Noel. But we love him and can't wait! Single is out soon.

If Noel is doing what I think he is, then it's pretty brilliant.
Not too many casual fans will be watching his Facebook announcement like we will. So what's the point of playing it right then there? However, there will be enough people watching to spread the word. He does the announcement, let's it build out there for a few hours, and then premiere on the radio when everyone will be piqued.
Could present a very big splash for him and drive sales high for the first 24 hours.

Do you think we'll get physical singles this time?
Although I'm a big fan of the single format with quality b-sides, it seemed the only people who bought the HFB singles ordered them off the website cos no shops seem to stock them, certainly in North America.

I'm expecting the usual question and answer like he did in 2011. In the live waiting room before the broadcast, there will likely be music playing from the record, as was the case with Let The Lord Shine A Light On Me. But maybe he changed up a little and will play a full song from the new album live, probably the single. Who knows! I'm excited nonetheless.

Got both DTOYAM and IIHAG in a media store in Munich, they had them for months. I'd hate to see physical singles go - no harm in doing them, especially if you have good b-sides.

Are there actually any dates for Noel's new material in this entire thread? Nothing confirmed, just wait until Monday. What's happening on Monday?

Falling Down as well would be good to hear live. Maybe on tour for HFB2 See this is what annoys me. Great find The song is class - we'd all be wanking over it if this was new ready for the new album
