What do you think of these 2 bands which are supporting Johnny on his Ireland/UK tour, durk? i like Wild Front mimmi poppy - but nice sound. reminds me somewhat of US opener Belle Game I need to listen to more songs by Wild Front to be honest. I wonder which band will support Johnny on his upcoming European tour? i'd say Wild Front is more in keeping... |

Thank you Jim!  Are you going to see Johnny at Barras in 2 weeks? globe will be there! I will unfortunately miss him as I am working Mimmi. However, I’m glad I will miss globe as anytime I’m at the same gig as him he threatens to throw a pint at me rather than buy me one....!!!! These east coast folk don’t have any manners!! |

When I saw Johnny at his first solo tour 4 years ago, he played Still Ill for encore. He came on stage with a rose holding in his mouth. I lost my word and breath! "Spiral Cities" single is to pre-order on his official site now. ( carlober!) I just pre-ordered mine. This time there's no autograph on the sleeve as Hi Hello limited single with his signature ended up on eBay. |

Nice to see that the 7" vinyl has an unheard b-side on it, Spectral Eyes. I guess that it won't be available digitally though, and I still don't have a working turntable!

you will like the setlist even better now mimmi! more to choose from Setlist from his album launch show in May.  He's replacing Actor Atractor, Newtown Velocity with You Just Haven't Earned Yet Baby and Get The Message on this tour. Can't wait to see him again! |

Johnny added a second London date in the end of this tour.
He'll play at EartH in London on Sunday 9th December. Pre-sale starts today at 10 AM.

I thought Spiral Cities was my absolute favourite and then he threw Spectral Eyes on the same damn single and I'm completely in shock. What a beautiful, gorgeous, uplifting, heartwrenching tune. I wish he'd make lyrics available somewhere as to date I don't know what he's saying on like almost all his B-Sides, and yet it's such an immediate hit with me. It's beautiful as anything, and feels very Huxley, too.

I just bought double CD's of London and Manchester show and triple coloured vinyl of London Show. Received a mp3 of last night's show and listening to Summer In The City with Matt Johnson as I type.
