Going to see him tonight in Toronto! Does anyone know what time he has been coming on it for this NA tour, im going to have to run from work and want to know how stressed and rushing i should be? Thanks! I don't know what time a gig starts in North America, but in Europe usually support act starts at 8 PM and the main act starts at 9 PM. Enjoy the show! I'm seeing him in December again!

Now that time has passed I can tell Call The Comet is his best solo effort. Even 'Easy Money' bored me some time after the first listen. But this record is great,I still listen the majority of the songs that came out with it. Songs like The Tracers,Hi Hello,Walk Into The Sea,Bug,Spiral Cities...even Jeopardy. Love it.

I'm sure you had a great time, durk! mimmi it was honestly the best i've ever heard him play and sing. it was amazing- totally power-packed and spot on tunes. he's evolved into quite a good front man.

Very true! I'm glad to hear you had a great time, durk! The Smiths and Electronic songs sounds even fresher and fit to his solo songs very well. Next is carlober's turn (next month), then mine! (December).

Ireland/UK/European tour kicks off in Belfast tonight! Support for Ireland dates: wildfrontmusic.com/Support for UK dates: Never heard of them before. By listening to one song by each band, I like Crewel Intention slightly more. They remind me a bit of Haven (former band of Jack and Iwan). What do you think of them, carlober?

Ace tune. If a younger artist with a stronger voice (Johnny still does a pretty good job) had released it, it could have been a hit. It has a great hook.

It's one of my favourite songs from Call The Comet. Johnny's daughter Sonny is on backing vocals in album and the live version is very nice as well.
