Quite looking forward to this, first album was good and on the whole much better than I expected. Those songs came across really well live and I'm expecting the same with this album, so I'm looking forward to his tour that month as well.

Loved the first album, way better than I expected.
Cannot wait for this - solo albums from Morrissey and Marr in the same year, wouldn't have expected that.

The Messenger was an awesome album, one of my favorites from 2013, I'm really looking forward to this new one!

A long waited new Moz album and the second album by my forever guitar hero in the same year.
My life is beautiful.
PS: 3 European dates have been announced - Cologne, Paris and Amsterdam. I got my ticket.
I've seen him 3 times - once with Modest Mouse, twice with The Cribs and met him in person. He was the nicest musician I've ever met. This is my very first time to see him solo. Finally!

It's still so strange seeing Johnny sing to the camera and front a band. He looks more comfortable than he has in the past (not that I'm an expert on it) but still something strange about it.
'Easy Money' could be a huge hit if promoted properly. Very catchy.

He's a guitar man in the first place and he loves challenge, so I was a bit surprised that he made second solo record. Seeing him again after 5 years next month. looking forward to it. |

That's right,I'd forgotten about that Healers record. It was okay. But the Messenger is a stellar record, shows how far he's come in finding his own sound and making an impact as a solo artist.
