I believe the statement contained 'for reasons outside their control' which makes me think that the parting of ways could have been over a monumental cock up over Coachella. But of course no waited for word on it they just got stuck into them straight away. I just said cancel, I have no idea what the reason was nor do I care. It is just a double combo of crappy things to happen to the band at a similar time. Loss of management, a Coachella trip that a couple of forum members were attending and dropping serious cash on. Yeah and its a totally shit situation to be in. While my advice would be that a festival is never great because of one band the truth is if they bought the tickets for that reason then that's it. People where unsurprisingly quick to cast aspersions on them. Its pretty clear they wanted to do it. People might describe it as turmoil but aside from the coachella thing aren't they booked up for more touring? Possibly more dates to be added. Its not ideal whats happened but at this point it doesn't seem like a disaster. Probably split up tomorrow now I've said that.

I hate the Beady Eye website. You click on live shows and it redirects you from their own website to their facebook page. That's strange. They can't just list dates on their website? Look cheesy.

Totally agree. I mean, how hard is it to make a webpage that simply displays the tour dates? It's laziness on the part of whomever runs the BE website.

No 3rd album, no more gigs. Beady Eye is no more. You read it here first.

The only viable way Beady Eye can carry on is for the 3rd album to be a trip-hop double album.
The trademark "come on" present in most songs will be replaced by Liam shouting "SWAG" at the top of his voice and taking up rapping (he's basically there already, anyway). Andy is now to be referred to as Andy Snoop Bell Dogg. Gem changes his name to Geminem and wears a vest everywhere.
There is no bassist. Jay will return to Kasabian or being a full time housewife. Chris Sharrock puts his drum sticks down, it's all electronic in the hip-hop game. He instead will spend his time during gigs seeing how much offensive and tawdry "bling" he can drape over his neck.
The third album is a critical and commercial success. Cue radio friendly collaborations with Rihanna, Katy Perrry or Taylor Swift. From here on in, any talk of an Oasis reunion is openly laughed upon.

I'm not sure what they will do. I gave DGSS and BE a shot and they didn't impress me at all. I actually don't have any Beady Eye on my itunes anymore, rather have room for better stuff. To be fair they've come up with a handful of decent songs (The Roller, The Morning Son, Four Letter Word, I'm Just Saying) and I love Oasis so I'll give anything that Liam sings on a listen, but Beady Eye just isn't a good band at least to my ears.
I find their brand of rock n' roll to be redundant and bland. They have a bunch of songs that I just cringe at. I respect all these guys and I do think they could make a good album, but it just hasn't happened yet. Don't know if it ever will. Rock n' roll has a fire and a spirit but Beady Eye just can't carry that energy with their (lack of) songwriting skills.
The troubling times of 2013 surely affected them negatively and 2014 hasn't been much better. Hopefully they'll get their shit together and reclaim some sort of fire.
I'll listen to the third album (if it comes) but sadly I'm not expecting much from Beady Eye.

Thanks.

What I don' t get is that how can some of u nearly dislike BDI or can hardly name 2-3 songs u like ...when I guess u call yourselves Oasis fans. Those songs are not that different...all right, there' s not Noels input, but...when u think ...try to remove first 4 songs off DOYS and BE is miles better and consistent album....just saying.
What the fuck do u expect from them? Another some might say or don' t look back in anger? fucking, stop living in 90ties. Calling BE bland or dull is just nonsense IMO.

I dont need to go through your history, i remember it quite clearly. You are like a homosexual in denial. And as for Lennon, you are clearly missing my point. Noel has been around the block and knows how to do things. His album is great. But it never gets out of generic safe mode for me. When i hear songs like What A Life, they were always going to appeal to a mainstream audience and fairplay for that. But give me Flick Of The Finger any day of the week. I agree with you. One of my biggest knocks on Noel is he always plays it safe. He dumped the Death In Vegas sessions, he abandoned the AA sessions. Those are the projects I wanted to hear the most! I only disagree with you over Beady Eye seemingly not caring about making music for radio or tv. This is Liam Gallagher. The man lives to be #1 and hasn't since Noel walked out in August 2009. He wants a radio hit, the band wants it.....the fans want it like us. It'll breathe more life and interest into the band which IMO they may need. I never said i don't think LG wants a song on the radio or TV. I said their albums aren't made that way. Intentionally or not. Through lack of knowing how to, maybe. But none the less, for me songs like SBOTA and FOTF are very experimental and were very much out of their own comfort zone. I agree LG wants to be no.1, but where as Noel wont care that he's boring a lifelong die hard like me as long as the sales figures are looking good, Liam seems to care more about the people like me. That is just how i feel about it. A music world without Liam making music is a very sad music world.

S adly, most of the world doesn't know Liam Gallagher is still making music with Beady Eye. that s why One Direction and all that shit around selling millions and rule the music world... all these people dont know anything about beady eye and liam gallagher, dont know anything about oasis except 2-3 hits or "the wondewall band", dont know anything about rock n roll, about real bands, about real rnr attitude and the passion about music. thats why Bastille is in the frontline of rock (OMG- pure shit)and all that pseudo rock bands that make a new Take That album to sound like the Beatles. same question for all the indie/rock/alternative bands. Do We Expect a new album by any indie/rock/alternative band? can you name a band that make it in the charts these days? i can only think about Arctic Monkeys...and please dont mention NG cause that s music for the radio2... (*the question and my post is not about you lennon2217. it's for everyone)

Sometimes I think BDi are like Joaquin Phoenix's "rap" career that was for a mockumentary...
very Spinal Tap-esque, which is fucking awesome.

God bless.
