I've always had the two best of's (early days, latter days) and I've always enjoyed them but this year seems to be the year that I delve deeper into their back catalogue and explore their albums.
So let's start of - Top 5 Zeppelin songs and Top Zeppelin album
Here's mine:
When the Levee Breaks Dyer Maker (Sheryl Crow actually did a really good cover of this for MTV Unplugged back in 94 or 95) Dazed and Confused Since I've Been Loving You All of my Love
As for album, I've only made my way up to Led Zep 3 but Led Zep 4 is full of absolute classics it seems.

Led Zeppelin is just one of those things that you can't imagine not existing.
My top 5, although it can always vary is
1. Ramble On 2. The Ocean 3. Moby Dick 4. Houses of the Holy 5. The Song Remains the Same

I like Led Zeppelin but people complain about Noel borrowing from artists while Zeppelin have been stealing for a long time.

I love Led Zeppelin. I actually started to listen to them in 2004 or 2005, thanks to Idol. Before that I only knew 2 or 3 songs, the obvious ones... Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker.

Led Zeppelin.........one of my all-time favorite bands. Nobody rocked harder. So diverse too. Acoustic tunes and raging rockers.
This is a band you can only truly appreciate by listening to all their albums, mainly their first 6. Those best of compilations are a complete waste of time IMO.
My favorite Zeppelin album is their 4th. That might be the most perfect album ever made. Just tune after tune after tune. All classics. Great production. I highly suggest to anyone wanting to learn about Led Zeppelin to read the book "Hammer of The Gods". That'll knock your socks off. This was a dangerous band, America should have feared letting their teenagers go see them in the early 1970s.
My Top 5 Song (Not ranked, just listed):
- Tangerine - Your Time Is Gonna Come - Hey Hey What Can I Do? - When The Levee Breaks - Bron-Y-Aur Stomp

Wish they would do some form of tour, they would put the Stones to shame, Jagger can't sing anywhere near the level Plant can reach, watching the Celebration Day version of Kashmir gives me shivers.

I always preferred the live version of "The Ocean" over the studio one. That always sounded incomplete demo that needed some more mixing.

Sadly my friend ...I don't want that at all, Zep died with bonzo. I had tickets for zep over America 80 still got them ..I was gutted .... I saw page / plant. And it was at live aid it never compared to what they did with bonzo ,,, that was a TRUE 4 piece. They were not ZEP WITHOUT ALL 4. So I don't want it

So I don't want it Fair enough I suppose, Bonzo's boy is a not bad drummer though eh? Basically the main reason I want them to do something is because I'm sick of hearing about how great it is that the rolling stones are still 'rocking' at their age, and 1 Led Zep performance would just show up Jagger n co. for the money grabbers that they are, It's my honest opinion that the Stones have done nothing since 78' they have just done a few half arsed albums every few years to keep the name and hype machine going, then again that's just my opinion on it, most would probably disagree.

Oh yea Sternumman don't worry about the few blues songs definatly stole your right. But they made them much better AND THE REST OF ROCK BANDS EVER SINCE ZEP WAS BORN HAVE FUCKING STOLE AND SAMPLED FROM ZEP EVER SINCE. SO BIG FUCKING DEAL. And yes they shoulda admitted it. STILL THEY HAVE INFLUENCED MOR " ROCK BANDS" THAN ANYONE BEATLES INCLUDED , BEATLES INFLUENCED ALL MUSIC. BUT YOU TALK TO ROCK BANDS MOST SAY THEY WANTED FO BE ZEP , SOUND LIKE ZEP , SO THEY GAVE BACK
