The Maccabees would be strange as they've been recording recently and aren't doing any festivals this summer. They're good live though, saw them supporting The Black Keys and they were probably the better band on the night.

Meh. Couple of decent tracks but nothing I'll be rushing back to listen to again. Stevie, Bumblebeee and Bow are the highlights. 6/10

Not as bad as people say it is but I expected a bit more tbh
(Shiva) - pointless instrumental really Bumblebeee - didn't like it at first, definitely a grower, and a brilliant live song Stevie - best song on the album (Mortis) - pointless instrumental pt.2 Doomsday - filler Treat - it would have been good if it wasn't 6.53 minutes long Glass - quite nice chorus, but that's it Explodes - not that bad, but not that gopd as well (Levitation) - pointless instrumental pt.3 Clouds - I really dig it Eez Eh - I like it, it's really catchy Bow - best song on the album with Stevie S.p.s - good ballad, nice way to end an album

They just announced a Dutch date in November, but I'm not sure if I go to see them again. I've seeing this band since 2005 and it'll be my 10th time to see them, but I lost the interest in them a bit since their last album.

I believe they are still good live but after this album i lost my interest in their new materials. I think that this is it from Kasabian, i dont think that i will buy their next album. I believe that there is nothing to expect from them anymore, game over.

If Beady’s Here Now was a Chippendales dancer, I could see "Treat" easily being his jam.

Easily my favorite album of this year so far. The first 6 tracks alone are flawless and flow together really well. The rest of the album is great as well. I just can't get over how good it is. For me, it's their best yet.

I think the spoken words at the end of "Glass" really bring this tune down. It was totally not needed.

At first I could not stand it, but now it's OK, at least that part when the music is still there.

Have someone outside the UK got the album? I pre-ordered the signed version from their official store, but haven't got it yet. They've taken my money and it was shipped 5th june.

Guess I have to be patient this time.

Mine was sent at the same day and I got it last Thursday. Which was a pleasant surprise, because sometimes it does take up to two weeks from the UK which always makes me wonder whether they swim through the Channel.

Probably shipped it earlier knowing you live outside the U.K. Amazon usually gives pretty accurate estimate dates and currently something I ordered should be here 12 days after the order.

support band in victoria park
Rudimental DJ's Jagwar Ma Zane Lowe Beardy Man
Jawar Ma are not bad. it is not fair that 40,000 people have paid £ 50 and as support groups there is no one big. Arctic Monkeys in their shows in Finsbury Park called Tama Impala, Miles Kane and Royal Blood.

I thought tickets were only £40? Either way, those supports are quite poor. Seems like they couldn't get who they wanted going by Serge's comments on the radio last week and just got these acts in at the last minute. Wasn't expecting anyone that big anyway, maybe The Courteeners at most.

The Leicester gig was truly something. We missed all the support as we were fucked just soaking up the festival atmosphere! It truly had something special in the air. The setlist wasn't the bravest imo though, playing mostly hits. Only played bumblebee, eez-eh, stevie and treat from 48:13 which was a bit of a shame. I would have loved to have heard bow and doomsday. The set finished with a Praise You/LSF which was a great ending to the show.
5 of us traveled up from near Manchester and we had to sleep in the car as we couldn't drive until the morning! You could really tell the band were incredibly proud to be there, playing their hometown to 50,000 people. Fully deserved.
