playing around with it, took the version AA did to Sardy along with 2 others I pray it's not slow and plodding like the crappy demo. I'd imagine it would be like the live version we all know and love plus some killer keyboard effects. Shame it didn't make HFB.

I just wish Noel would use some bigger guitar sounds for HFB2. An example would be AKA..What a Life. The live version is awesome but the album version doesn't do anything for me.
But with AKA...Broken Arrow I prefer the Album version to the live version. And just like with a lot of Noel/Oasis songs, some of the guitar solo's get lost in the song. You can barely hear them. Every time I hear Champagne Supernova I just wish the damn solo was louder. It is such a great solo.

You can barely hear her unless listening on headset with the volume cracked up. It's like the choir on "The Turning" and "Come On Outside". Turn that shit up Noel!

Another example is Magic Pie. Another solo I love but you can barely hear the damn thing.

I would love to hear Noel going in a Neil Young - Harvest direction for just 1 album. I think if he did an album like that it would almost top DM/MG for me.
Then again I wouldn't mind an album full of Freaky Teeths either.

Then again I wouldn't mind an album full of Freaky Teeths either. I've been dying for a Neil Young style acoustic album from Noel probably since 2000. He could have easily have done one as a side project between albums. Imagine this happened between HC and DBTT? Seemed like perfect timing to me. Come on Noel, steal a page out of the Neil Young playbook and crank out an album of acoustic tunes. Damn the critics, sales and fans. Just be you.

I love how everybody rush to listen to soundcheck versions and stolen demos then when the songs naturally go on the album there are complaints about them being "old songs". The second funny thing is how every time Noel plays a song at a soundcheck and the record version comes out, the first one is better because it's "haunting", like for If I had a gun. They're not haunting, they're just strummed on an acoustic guitar in an empty arena: you play "Jim will fix it" that way and it's haunting too. /useless rant off Jim'll Fix It will ALWAYS sound haunting...

Yep. Freaky Teeth please.
Also, re: the acoustic album, it'd be cool if he did a double album... One a full album, not a single acoustic track, and then the other one, just Noel, an acoustic, and maybe a drumkit.

4th disc can be a Damon Albarn collab, blusis. Or HFB: the best of live. Or a CD full of Noel written songs sung by other artists (like Rod Stewart covering Rocking Chair).

I'd like him to do a bonus disc covering TV theme tunes, I think he would do a crackin rendition of the neighbours theme tune
