I love how everybody rush to listen to soundcheck versions and stolen demos then when the songs naturally go on the album there are complaints about them being "old songs". The second funny thing is how every time Noel plays a song at a soundcheck and the record version comes out, the first one is better because it's "haunting", like for If I had a gun. They're not haunting, they're just strummed on an acoustic guitar in an empty arena: you play "Jim will fix it" that way and it's haunting too.
/useless rant off

So we'll only get 3 new songs after 3 years of waiting, wonderful. No you are getting all new songs and one old song (Freeky Teethe) presuming its on the album. It's not Noels fault that you listened to stolen demos and soundchecks.

Exactly. We all knew this was coming, especially after the same thing happened with the last album. If you seek out unreleased material you give up the right to complain you've heard it when the album is announced.

So we'll only get 3 new songs after 3 years of waiting, wonderful. Great now you're whining about Noel also. If you wanted new material you shouldn't have heard the leaked demos and soundchecks, there's only one person to blame if YOU don't think there's enough new material and it sure as hell isn't Noel.

Freaky Teeth? Really? Don't think this will be one.

I'd find it a bit weird for freaky teeth to be on there - it's very much part of the first album for me.
But I can see the sticker on the cd case: "Includes the single 'The Dying of the Light' and live favourite 'Freaky Teeth' "

I'm quite interested to see what happens with the rest of the AA material.
I accept I'm in the minority in liking it and that a whole album would be commercial suicide, but it would be nice to see it coming out on b-sides and EPs. Bring back multiple b-sides per single!!

freaky teeth and come on outside (even though It should be a liam song imo) are ones I want to hear on the next album, anything else is a bonus.

Why would freaky teeth be on this album when he's been playing it to support the HFB I tour from pretty much day one? Plus it was also officially released as part of that magic is right or whatever DVD. l can't see it having anything to do with HFB II.

Just the demo was released,it would be a shame if it will remain unreleased However I'm the only one who thinks the album will be mega?

I'd actually be more surprised if Freaky Teeth were not on the album. It's too good to be a b-side and it would make even less sense for Noel to tour around with it for a year and then not use it or only release a demo version of it or it as a b-side.
It's not like it's a TWNSIS type deal where he only played it a couple of times live. He played it for a whole tour. If there were no completely released version on the album, I'd be surprised.

If we're getting Come On Outside, Freaky Teeth and The Dying of The Light, then I'm bought, and the rumors of Revolution Song gets me pretty excited more so. Interestingly, at the start of this (and it plays throughout at different points) you can hear a studio recording of The Dying of The Light, so if the OP's telling the truth, maybe it's not being demo'd because it's already got a studio recording done, and they'll just re-record it with the rest of the new album. Also, at 4:27, where Noel's doing the really over the top "MAYBEE", it plays back a recording, whatever it says, I like the sound of it. For the record, does anyone else think Don't Stop The Happening/Bye Bye My Family sounds like Verve - Lucky Man? Yea, I've been wondering for sometime what that song is at 4:27. A few times I thought about starting a thread for it to see if anyone could place it with Noel's previous songs. It sounds pretty good, well at least the 4 or 5 seconds we get to hear

Noel should just have let the version he recorded with Sardy on HFB. Would have found a nice home right after "AKA...What A Life".

I don't particularly like the demo but the live version is completely awesome, the guitar solo at 2:38 is fantastic just on its own! Liam's vocals would probably fit this song too tbh.

Also, which is considered the best (live) version of Feeaky Teeth by this community?
