Hopefully a new album will surface by early summer 2014. #WishfulThinking I have no idea of timescales on this and it's slightly complicated by the (current) plans of a Morning Glory re-issue I don't know if Noel would be promoting both at the same time, I highly doubt it. If the MG re-issue goes ahead then I would of thought Noel would get HFB 2 out before then otherwise it could be 2016 before he releases again. For clarification (mainly for GDForever) the second paragraph is merely my opinion  I can say I believe you if you REALLY care that much that I have said I am not convinced about your "insider status" And I take this as a "no, I am not going to say what else Noel is up to in LA"? |

^ I can't remember if it was established who produced Alone on the Rope but the vocal sound, instrumentation and feel of that tune is fantastic. Keep the easy going pop rock of NGHFB but add some things people wouldn't necessarily expect - a jazzy ballad here or an Idler's Dream there, it doesn't need to have AA tearing up the songs and putting them back together to surprise people. Or Noel channels Kanye and busts some mad rhymes, whichever works best.  |

Im hoping there is at least a bit of adventure from him, seeing as he said he has done Revolution Song I would not expect anything too radical. The soundcheck of I Had a Gun was amazing but the studio version was soulless. Hopefully Sardy doesn't make the same mistake twice. |

I quite liked Sardy's take on MG, the sound is fresh and more "in your face".

Out of interest, what do people think of Sardy's mix of Morning Glory? I prefer the original "Morning Glory". Just like I prefer the original "Cast No Shadow" compared to the UNKLE version. Owen Morris might not be revered but he managed to capture Oasis in all their glory back in the day. I wouldn't have minded if Oasis circled backed and used him for Dig Our Your Soul since Noel wanted to throw the kitchen sink at it. An Owen Morris specialty.  |
