cos he gets on with Sardy and values his opinion  He's gone 12 hours on a plane to go play him some recordings? Sardy flew 12 hours to tell him the drums were shit on his last album and thats not the only reason he is in LA |

God bless. I did look back. I believe that he found out the track listing of the demo tracks they were sending around. Not inside info at all. Same tricks as last time around...probably just found a random radio person on Twitter or Facebook. Only instead of posting his sources like he did in 2011 he pretends that he is "in the know" and someone has told him. Interestingly he did amend his post in that thread the next day when Liam released the full track listing to make it seem like he had leaked all of the titles when he had only named 4 originally. I believe him on certain things. Thing you can find on twitter. He's always been good at digging up in information. He found Noel's first single title etc. But there has never been any evidence that he has source inside the camp...and even less likely that he knows people in both camps since they don't even share staff any more. He used to be honest about it but now he thinks it's cool to be "mysterious" like he knows more than he is letting on. He's not an insider. |

I'm very appreciative of the insider information I've gotten from this forum. I think it's cool that there are members on here who are willing and able to contribute in the capacity that they do. Sure, there are bullshitters, but for the most part, you've got people who've been on this forum forever (much respect!) who have had years and years of contributing music, artwork, information, downloads, pictures, etc. I'm thrilled to be able to get to enjoy all those great things. And if Liam tweets it himself seconds before or after, so what? Or if Noel's setlist is actually one song off of what someone posted it would be, so what? I find it cool regardless. Big thanks to all those who've contributed to this forum in any such capacity - you are what makes this place awesome! (And Webby's cat, if you really are Liam...  |

I believe Webby's Cat/Bonkers. Bonkers has a proven track record of someone who tends to get good info and I remember him posting the exact tracklisting from BE's album. I'd be surprised if he found it somewhere on twitter or Facebook and no one else came across it.
Whether he has "inside info" that's his business. If he says that he does, then I tend to believe him based on his track record and the fact that he's never had a reason to lie before about his sources. When he has found something online he has happily provided the proof to it before.
Also, Noel going to LA with demos for Sardy to listen to wouldn't sound that out of ordinary to me. Remember, last time Noel completed his solo album and then gave it to Sardy to do the final mix only to be told that it needed to be completely rerecorded. Maybe he doesn't want to go through that fiasco again? Maybe he'd like to have a tried and tested producer and a second voice in there from the beginning? Also, maybe he's going for a sound that he doesn't feel comfortable constructing on his own?
When it comes to music, especially for someone as "old school" as Noel, talking and going through it with someone face to face could be fairly comfortable rather than just file sharing or skyping. So I don't see how Noel going to LA with demos to see Sardy would be out of the question.

Hopefully a new album will surface by early summer 2014. #WishfulThinking I have no idea of timescales on this and it's slightly complicated by the (current) plans of a Morning Glory re-issue I don't know if Noel would be promoting both at the same time, I highly doubt it. If the MG re-issue goes ahead then I would of thought Noel would get HFB 2 out before then otherwise it could be 2016 before he releases again. For clarification (mainly for GDForever) the second paragraph is merely my opinion |
