Love the Sardy mix of Morning Glory. Always thought the original mix sounded a bit flat.

If Noel is in fact doing demos in LA with Dave Sardy perhaps he wants to capitalize on his HFB success right away. Taking a 3 year break in this musically climate can often be a death trap. I just hope he doesn't play it "too" safe with album #2. I'd like to see him push his sonic boundaries a little more like Beady Eye did with Dave Sitek. We all know he's got the tunes for another great album.

I doubt he's demoing with Sardy, either he's recording the album or doing demos alone.

I can't get too excited for a new release if Sardy is involved again tbh.
Sure, there'll be the tunes there on Noel's part but they probably won't reach their potential with Sardy at the helm (aka If I Had A Gun)

He's probably mixing it so new album in march I doubt he'll only mix in LA this time. The only reason he didn't go to LA and work with Sardy for the recording on HFB from the beginning was because Sarah was pregnant and then had Sonny so he stayed in England and Sardy wasn`t willing or able to go over there. |
