As a training Game Developer, it's safe to say I play a lot of games  Haven't seen a games thread so I thought I'd make one to discuss what we're playing and our favourite games. So on Playstation Network I've started playing Tekken Revolution, the first game I played was Tekken 2 at the age of 3 (or so my cousin tells me) so imagine my excitement when a free Tekken was released. It has a unique arcade coin system and the gameplay and online are top notch. |

While I know a bit of games my actual game play has been a bit stale for the last generation of consoles... I wish someone could buy my wii Pretty good at Fifa and racing games, but show me a shooting game and I will try to play something else. |

I stopped caring when pong got old Seriously though last video game I played was "time pilot"had the high score til pinball inferno. Closed down lasted years was a cool game you fought a air battle in 1918 against Red Baron type planes then ww2 against Japanese zeroes , then " "modern era " 83 soviet migs ( very war games ) finally the " future" 2001 where you fought ufos ..... That's fucking ancient  |

I used to be a bit of a gamer, completing Mass Effect 2 three times, side-quests and all I'd spend hours on Assassins Creed collecting feathers and Borgia flags and so on... Because of studies I had to give up my long gaming sessions a bit and I've never really got it back, now I just play the standard bit of CoD and Fifa as a more casual gamer. I am however, massively excited for GTA V and Saints Row IV will be pretty good as well |

I'm pretty simple when it comes to gaming. I have a Ps3, and the only games I own are FIFA, PES, WWE/Smackdown Vs Raw, Arkham City, Assassin's Creed and GTA VI Arkham City was a really great game but I found it to be one of those games where once I'd finished the story, I didn't feel any need to go back and play it for side missions and collectibles etc. It's all about GTA from now one though, V looks amazing so far  |

Anyone played The Last Of Us yet?
Been racking my head over whether to pick it up or not. Also has anyone played the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection yet. That I'm surely going to pick up in the next week or so but still some thoughts on it would be great.

Thanks mate, I was expecting it to be good because I really liked the preview they showed at E3. Glad to hear it's not all hype. I had heard about them not keeping the original soundtrack on Budokai HD. But I just can't help myself. It's Dragon Ball Z for god's sake.  Though I still wish they'd remastered the Tenkaichi games in HD, still Budokai was amazing too. Still remember the fun I used to have playing it with my cousin brother years ago. God only know what a shit game Ultimate Tenkaichi was, so hopefully we'll see a Budokai Tenkaichi PS3 release soon. |

I'll just keep my Xbox 360 for a year, what with GTA, Saints Row IV, Assassins Creed Black Flag and the next CoD and Fifa games all coming out for the current generation, I'll be kept busy for a while. By that time, the dust will have set and we'll see which is the best of the new consoles

Can't wait for this. The only game I've bought in the last year or so that has been any good imo was Far Cry 3 which was phenomenal. Fifa 13 is infuriating at times and pretty much the same as the last few Fifa games, CoD Black Ops 2 was the worst CoD I've ever played and the new Assassins Creed showed that the series is losing it's steam imo through annual releases. I'm still looking forward to Black Flag though but even if it's mediocre like the last few Creed games I can't see that I'll get bored with GTA to play for the next year or so.

Wonder if the Penetrator will see a return... I hope they haven't rushed it on the back of the success of Saints Row the Third and I know you don't really buy a Saints game for its story but I actually got pretty engaged into it when it came to choosing which ending I was going to take.
