Love it, but it wouldn't have fitted on the album.

Love it, but it wouldn't have fitted on the album. Just heard the song, and I agree with that. I think this one and Back After The Break are good songs but wouldn't fit the album.

can someone tell if the song is also on the vinyl record? cause at some online shops only 14 tracks are listed without the song, and on the official site it's 15

Hopefully we'll get it as a B-Side eventually, but I would have preffered it over DOSS

Has anyone mentioned the track has a SOTSOG vibe?
Imagine If ICSAL and PYMWYMI where taken off in place of this and LAMB

I get your point but with a song like this - I'd have made it fit! (especially when there are other tracks that could have been cut) I'd have put it as a ghost track after Start Anew.

I think the reason it's not on there is that if it were then that would be one more slower paced song compared to the rockers. All the songs on BE are great so I couldn't swap it with any but yeah if they'd added it, that would've meant one more slow song. The album as it is right now might have left out some of the best songs BE have written but the album itself flows great. So yeah I'm sorry it's not on the album but I agree it just wouldn't have fit in it if it were.

If the problem is ratio of rockers to soft stuff just take off Don't Brother Me, Ballroom Figured or Soul Love. It's not a question of whether or not those three songs or good, it's just that Off At The Next Exit and especially Back After The Break are THAT good.

I've joined this site to post about this song.
I think it's fantastic & should be a single. It's one of the best oasis or beady eye songs I've ever heard and should be released as a single to make up for the huge gaff of leaving it off the album.
Just have to say seen people posting for a rip of the track. Pay the 99p on iTunes or amazon (89p) and give the artist the credit they deserve.

I was also thinking earlier that it was single-worthy. I think it would have mass appeal, could imagine it being massive if it was released by somebody like Coldplay. Maybe its too simple a song, but that's not a bad thing. Imagine they chose to play it on the Voice

Not sure if it should've been a single, but its at least a good song to attract more people, especially people outside the 'rock 'n roll' genre

This should definitely have been a single. It's the best song on the whole album FFS.....and its not even on the official album!!!
This is the biggest crime committed since Noel decided to tuck The Masterplan away as track 4 on a single.

This is fantastic! Sounds like something off Lennon's Walls And Bridges. Gem's best song since Mouse In A Hole/Shooting Star?

I was gobsmaked when I found out gem wrote this and back after the break. They both screamed Andy to me. Suppose they didn t fit speed of album but Liam's singing on this is mega. Almost crooner like. Moved on from screaming into songs. Weather he could carry it live I don t know

This should have made the 11 for me. Probably the best song beady eye have put out, this could be a b-side maybe with dreaming of some space being another bonus track. Great tune though.

Perhaps when Liam was saying a year or so ago that the new material had a "All Things Must Pass" vibe, he was talking about the songs that ended up as bonus tracks? Songs like Off At The Next Exit, Back After The Break, Girls In Uniform and Evil Eye.

it's a joke that this song is a bonus. Just as Evil Eye. It is difficult to understand Beady Eye.

On youtube for the song the top liked comment is "Like if Miles Kane brought you here!" Anyone know what this is about? Has he mentioned it or covered it?

I changed my mind about this song. Initially I thought it was brilliant, but now it bores me somewhat.
The vocals are amazing, and the melody is alright for the first couple minutes, but after that, it just sort of plods along and never seems to end.
