I have only listened to the real album once because of the shocking quality so I cant give me opinions of that but what do people think of this bonus track? I really like it and Liam's voice sounds great and really soulful. I think he singling i a completely new style on this song.

Should have been on the album, haven't stopped listening to it this morning, absolutely beautiful song. Liam's vocals are some of his best work to date, amazing.

Great song, should've been at least an album track (not just a bonus),think this would've get more people into beady eye rather than Second Bite, but that might be me

Why the FUCK was Off at the Next Exit was left off of the album. It's touching and emotional but not sappy, meaningful lyrics, and Liam's delivery here is stunning, especially how he sings the chorus. It's like the long lost cousin of Dont Go Away, conceptually wise at least.
See, BDI and LAG are beyond capable when they don't fuck around with infantile lyrics.

It's gorgeous, and kind of getting a SOTSOG style to it, especially the 'aaaaah's like at the end of Roll it over

I really like BE (the band, not the album... but also the album... fuck this is gonna get confusing -.-) But it's really quite shocking how some songs are freaking great (including) lyrics, while so many others are so-so and yeah... the lyrics can be quite horrible from time to time.
I get the feeling some of the b-sides this time can be songs they wrote before they decided to hold off on recording and write some new ones. I feel like a lot of the album lyrics are quite rushed, and it wouldn't surprise me if 70% of the album tracks are there purely because they felt new and fresh to the band compared to some of the older ones which they'd probably demoed and worked on for close to a year.
Off at the Next Exit easily feels like the most accomplished BE song to date, non-forced, it has it's own sound, great lyrics, melody, and great LG vocals. It's fucking sad that it's probably gonna be kept as a fan favorite

Tell me what you want, Tell me what you need, tonight Open up your arms, Let me be there (ahhhh) let me be there (ahhhh) Here we go again, Needing to explain, Just what's in our brains, Is never clear (ahhhh), never clear (ahhhh) Are you giving me up? Are you giving me up? Are you giving me up, babe? Cause I get the fear, The more I get you near, The more you fade away, aw yeah So what you wanna' hear, Is what I'm gonna' say Any game she play, I'll be here (ahhhh), I'll be here (ahhhh) Are you giving me up? Are you giving me up? Are you giving me up, babe? Cause I get the fear, The more I get you near, The more you fade away, aw yeah What you gonna' do when the rain comes in? Who you gonna' call to do something about it? Who'll pick you up when you're spread too thin, When the walls you built are closing in around you? I found you Cause I get the fear, The more I get you near, The more you fade away, aw yeah Very nice

Yep a good tune, been listening to this a lot. Shame its not on the actual album but you're never going to please everyone with the tracklist.
Glad these bonus songs are decent and not just filler. (Loving worlds not set in stone as well)

Seriously, what the fuck is up with "getting the fear" and apples. Only thing that I don't like about Beady Eye is some of the lyrics.

I really like it. The "Are You Givin' Me Up" bit remembers me of a Will Young song that name escapes me! Also the "what you gonna' do" sounds exactly like bit from All Around The World "what you gonna do" not just lyrically but melody wise as well. Nice song though.

remembers me of a Will Young song that name escapes me! I wouldnt have admitted to that anywhere on the internet. Please please lets not talk about Beady Eye and Will Young in the same sentence on this forum. Surely thats a bannable offence ?

They should definitely air these songs somewhere live or radio!!!

Yes! Good song !. Should definitely be in the album. In my opinion, it is much better than at least 6 songs of the album (SBOTA, Face the Crowd, Ballroom Figured, Shine a Light, Don't Brother Me and Soon Comes Tomorrow).

For me, this is one of those songs that instantly grabs you. I do believe that BE is a grower but this song would have been a class song to sit on there, and potentially single material for me. I think it's a top tune, in fact it's the only one I've really had on repeat from these songs thus far.
I'd be proud to play this to someone and say, that's Beady eye that!
(I like the album by the way on the whole)

No one can touch Liam when he's like this, pure soul in his voice.
some belting little chord changes in here too.

Maybe a bit too good for a bonus song.

Is this available in good quality or like the smartphone leak? I've not listened to anything in poor quality thus far.
