It is a great tune. End of discussion. Well now that that's settled I hate these kind of comments more than anything else. Who died and made you god? Grow up mate. It's a bit of banter.

Boy, can people twist lyrics to fit their agendas.
"Always in the Sun with your #1" - and you think that means Noel's firstborn? No. How about #1 record? If it is directed at Noel, I believe it is talking about Noel being in the paper, and the fact he had a best seller. Look at the context.
And as for those pics, it's not like he submitted them to the paper himself. Hardly using the kid. By all accounts (including Noel's) he's a good uncle to her. Leave kids out of it.

I really love this song. Its kinda Jack White style with the piano and all. Love the bass and the ending. Great song IMO

I actually like it for some reason. The lyrics are puerile, but Liam's playfully mischievous delivery makes it a fun listen. The outro is two minutes too long, of course. I guess where I differ the most from the consensus opinions is that I don't really care for Soon Come Tomorrow and I think Iz Rite should be a single.

It's alright. But not particularly great. After Soon Come Tomorrow, Iz Rite and I'm Just Saying - and that comes in, it just sounds jarring and doesn't fit the rest of the album. Okay, could do better with a different tune though

about 2 mins too long but love it otherwise. incredible production- ambient noise. lyrics little cringe-worthy at times tho.

It's another twist but I didn't think about the newspaper, I thought "always in the sun" meant he's always seen in a good light, and has it easy with the press, critics and fans. And to me it's pretty obvious he means "number 1" about the record, especially since he later sings "did ya number 1" probably referring to any number 1 they had with Oasis.

Still not a huge fan. One of the weaker ones for me. Now I've heard the bonus tracks I'm pretty convinced it made the album to stir up some media interest.

How cool would it be if Noel recorded an "answer" to Liam and stuck it on YouTube?

It's funny the division over this song. Either people love it, or people hate it. I find it to be one of the strongest tunes on the album where others find it the weakest.
I wonder if the reason of the division has little to do with the song quality itself and more about the lyrics and who they are aimed primarily at...Noel.
