Listened to it twice now, really really liking it, the melody is beautiful.
The lyrics aren't the best but the melody carries it, great song.

I couldn't really get into it on first listen. The outro doesn't really fit with the song for me.
Perhaps this is a more cohesive album than we originally thought since there's a similar outro on Soul Love?

Gorgeous melody! Liam's at his best when he writes these kind of songs, in my opinion.

I think the first three and a half minutes are beautiful, great melody. I think it works best a nice short ditty. But I'm not really feeling the outro. Another song where there will have to be better quality version to make a hard judgement. So far the outro just sounds self indulgent. I like that they went a different avenue with the sound, just wish there was more of experimentation with a purpose. I don't see how the outro goes with the song, unfortunately I would have been more happy with the short three and half a minute song, which is beautiful.

Great song, strong melody, good lyrics and I thought the outro was a bit long but that's a minor thing, overall love the song!

I like it! Not the best song I've heard, but it is good. Honestly though from everything I have heard, I think I like DGSS a bit more. But that could be due to being more familiar with it. This will be really cool live, massive even.

By far the worst song he's ever written. Sounds like the type of thing someone writes when they're trying to make a melody out of some lyrics instead of the other way round.

I think it's superb. Soon Come Tomorrow is the best Beady Eye song by a mile though

Not that keen on it. Nothing exceptional. The lyrics aren't as interesting as I thought they'd be. A bit on the nose. Not atrocious like SBOTA or anything just not the selling point I had been led to believe they'd be judging by the amount of quoting in the reviews. And the outro is just long and boring. Could be just the quality. Maybe it'll come to life live.
I also have a had time with part of the melody. When he sings "You know I'm a man" the note that he sings on "MAN" is discordant to me and makes me cringe. It can't be just an odd bum note because he reproduces it again and again.
So weird no Oasis or BDI song has ever sounded discordant like that...
Anyone else hearing what I mean?

how can some say that the outro doesn't fit with the song? some are so stuck up, it's amazing.
it's a song, they can do whatever the fuck they want with it.anyway, love the outro, dont care about the actual song. it's just always Noel everywhere with those guys

I think the main melody is pleasant, nice little song to listen to without thinking it's a masterpiece. But i'm really liking the outro. When i heard it on the Q magazine video i was bored and stopped listening halfway through. But it fits here for me. Lovely and... almost a bit ethereal. Love the bass line all the way through, and a welcome departure from the boys

Which is something I don't think I said about anything from the last era.
Way to go Jeff

Listened to it a second time, know I shouldn't have.
But now my opinion has flipped a bit. Now I really like the outro, but the beginning acoustic bit doesn't sound all too great. aJust sounds okay on second listen.
There isn't much of a transition between the acoustic and the outro. Sounds like a Beady Eye song with a Sitek composition crammed together. They really don't work together actually. Might be one of those songs as ,Beady Eye were saying, that they brought in and Sitek just put his own spin on it. I probably would have been more happy with if he we got a bit more of the ethereal sound with the first part of the song so the transition wouldn't feel so jarring and rushed. I'm hoping it will sound smoother with a better quality version.
