Do I Wanna Know? got to number 11 in the charts and Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High? got to number 8. Goes to show great quality rock and roll can still chart high.

It's much better than the pedestrian Suck it and Sea, but it's still lacking....something.
Do I Wanna Know - Has grown on me greatly
R U Mine - Still irritates me
One for the Road - Fantastic
Arabella - Good
I Want It All - Filler, disjointed, doesn't fit within the album
No 1 Party Anthem - Ok. Sounds like Piledriver Waltz too much
Mad Sounds - Like this one, some DBTT-era drumming going on there. Sounds a bit like Pulp, too
Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High - Great, wish it was bigger, though....
Snap Out of It - Doesn't go anywhere
Knee Socks - This is better, even if it's just an album track. It's actually complete.
I Wanna Be Yours - Decent closer, but doesn't go anywhere.
Solid album. Songs don't seem to go anywhere, though. Ideas are there, but wish they were developed more.
Better than Suck it and Sea, though - which was highly disappointing.
Where are the guitars, though!?!?

Not interested in the leak to be honest. Its out proper on Monday anyway, i can wait.
Got to be honest and say im not overly keen on the previews i've heard so far, but i expect they will grow on me.

its a pretty good album. Spun it three times today with sometime I think I could say its a great album. Hard to believe this is their 5th album. Fantastic band.
