There wasnt much I've said about BDI In this thread at all tbh, let alone defending BDI 'this much??'. On this forum people seem to think its ok just to personally attack people, or Think they have superior intelligence or taste or opinion etc etc and people seem to vent this at the BDI section/ fans I'm not saying Lennon is one of these or you are but it happens alot. You may not agree but, that is my opinion and it does get pathetic Any way aww bless you I believe me, you and Let It Bleed can be fast forum friends once we get passed our misunderstandings. A persons tone is often hard to interpret via keyboard. text and its nuances can hard to understand especially when talking to 'foreigners'  Thom Yorke is on Jonathan Ross tonight BTW |

Nme deputy head Lucy jones @lucyjones: The new Beady Eye album is probably the worst thing I've ever heard Doubt it's the worst album she's ever heard But seriously, FOTF is a good song and SBOTA, while I'm definitely not a fan of it.....it's far from a bad song. AGN is bad and even poorer songwriting, though the songwriting on SBOTA isn't mind blowing or even great, it's a major step up from that. It shall be interesting to see what the reviews say. DGSS received fairly good reviews, until critics and some fans turned on it....but I think a lot of that had to do with people being surprised that it wasn't complete crap and they didn't fail once Noel left and once the shine wore off some saw what was a fairly competent album and then demonized it as the worst thing known to man. Anyways, we should be getting reviews within the coming days. |

To be honest the only real criticism i've seen from her when asked on Twitter is that his voice is dreadful. If that's all she has to offer then i'm not too concerned. I've quite liked his voice on what 've heard so far.

Does anyone care about the NME anymore? I'm not defending the album cause I have not heard it. The singles I like and to be blunt I could wipe a dogs arse with this women's opinion. The only thing she knows more than me is what she likes/dislikes and I don't care about that in the slightest!

Who would listen to the NME anyway? It's well past it's best. I mean this is the magazine that gave plenty of attention to bands like Brother and The Enemy, and it's mainly because of this rag piece of journalism that we have to endure these terrible bands. I predict more clunky three chord pub bands to be given attention quite soon.

So much negativity surrounding Beady Eye just now, depressing reading some of the comments on this forum. First 2 releases have been growers and I personally love his voice these days,.. FOTF is massive, very good lyrics as well. SBOTA, a grower, a bit repetitive yeah but still decent "Girl in the cue got an eye on you" verse sounds great, catchy as well.
Got the impression in that XFM interview that Liam isn't giving this album much of a chance, maybe just the shit interviwer. Then his 'Quit if it bombs' comment. Fuck these boys need a massive album, they deserve it.
