I've gotten quite a few messages about this, so just to confirm: this ISN'T the song I heard at the club. How did the song in the club sound? Did it also feature a brass section? I imagine this single being very fast paced in a Kasabian kind of way. Thanks! People who were there said to NME or something that it sounded mega and it did have a brass section

I've gotten quite a few messages about this, so just to confirm: this ISN'T the song I heard at the club. How does the quality compare, is Kill Switch much better than Flick Of The Finger or are they quite similar?...

The fact that NME is calling it a new "track" and not the new "single" pretty much confirms it's not the single.

I quite enjoyed hearing it done acoustic by that Razor Notes fellow. I really hope the band do more (actually any!) acoustic sessions this time around.

I can't stop playing it, the brass just gives it that epic feel, absolutely love it. This isn't even the single either! I think we're in for a treat with this album people.

The fact that NME is calling it a new "track" and not the new "single" pretty much confirms it's not the single. Fact: NME.com once published a list of 10 assumed tracks that would appear on DBTT. There were all bogus and originated from a fan forum (probably this one). They also wrote that "One Way Road" was a new Oasis song slated for Heathen Chemistry during the noise and confusion tour of October 2001. I trust nothing on that site.

This song is so addictive! I can't stop playing it. I also love Liam's voice on this now, it was a bit jarring at first but now I can't wait to hear more!

If this is the song they are playing at the DJ nights then maybe it is the real single? I hope not, it's a brilliant tune but I'm desperate to hear another one

The "I see the wonder if life.." line is one of Liams best moments as a singer. It's so refreshing to hear him without any of those shitty effects trying to make him sound 21 again, if you try to forget what he used to sound like he's still a brilliant singer, equally as distinct and catchy, just different.

Looks like the lads standing round the decks just requested it and the DJ gave it a spin.
It's not Andy Bells.

This song is absolutely awesome. Definitely a great one to listen to with the volume up to 11.
If the actual single outdoes this I will be one happy man.

This is a fantastic song and it really works as a grower for the full album. The sound is immediately catchy, Liam´s voice in top and the song keeps growing and growing after a new listen. This song is much better than 7 songs from DGSS and 8 from NGHFB.
Beady eye, you had my interest, now you have my complete attention...

Liam sounds amazing, the brass is a nice addiction without overblowing it(learn that Sardy), it also has an Dig Out Your Soul vibe, much different from DGSS stuffs.

It tends to get better and better, like a good MG track, but still an album track and not a single
Track 10 on a 11 track records would be perfect. Or an opener.

I've listened to it about 100 times and it constantly grows on me. For me it's their best song so far, along with ITBWAB. Exceeded my expectations by far.
If this turns out the be "just" an album track we can probably expect great things ahead.

Yeh man, don't know why but I just can't stop playing, I'm absolutely hooked and it grows on me by the listen. As Kingcrawler said, the "I see the wonder of life" line is great as well

now I understand the "emperial" feeling Liam talked about... the song has this big monstrous and apocalyptical atmosphere all over it.
Flick of the finger: 10/10

I think I hadn't been this addicted to a song since when Shock of the Lightning came out.
