most of you could suck the fun out of a blowjob......is the song breathtaking? no. Is the song alright? yes. is the song a good step forward? yes. it's an ok song, enjoy it instead of thinking of things you can say about it to sound clever, because most of you aren't, pussies. God bless.

As an album track I think this song would be a nice little tune. But as a single...I don't know what they are trying to achieve, but if this is the song people are going to hear on radio I doubt they will sell more than DGSS.

Ok song. Not epic, not classic. Different it is. And I like the sound. But the song seems unfinished imo. Something is missing. At least to be a decent single.

Ohhh know I see...... I thought the whole "Gems mates jaw dropping" thing was a positive remark, but now I see why they dropped.
They probably even dropped multiple times in succession whilest making laughing noises.

On an acoustic, it'd be boring as fuck that really sums up most of the comments on here. fucking unbelievable. let's just base the whole critique of modern music on whether something would sound half decent with some vagina singing it on a badly tuned acoustic round a campfire shall we? If Noel had done this, it would be all 'wonderful vocal samples like the early Oasis demos' comments around here. really don't understand the negativity on an Oasis fan forum. This is a great track, whether lead single (or more likely) an 'annuoncement' track like everyone seems to do these days. can't wait for the album.

Great song. Very 'Death in Vegas'esque. Love the lyrics and the how Liam sings on it. Anyone know who the German bloke is at the end? Thought it was Klaus Voormann at first!

“Don’t be deceived when they tell you things are better now. Even if there’s no poverty to be seen because the poverty’s been hidden. Even if you ever got more wages and could afford to buy more of these new and useless goods which industries foist on you and even if it seems to you that you never had so much, that is only the slogan of those who still have much more than you. Don’t be taken in when they paternally pat you on the shoulder and say that there’s no inequality worth speaking of and no more reason to fight because if you believe them they will be completely in charge in their marble homes and granite banks from which they rob the people of the world under the pretence of bringing them culture. Watch out, for as soon as it pleases them they’ll send you out to protect their gold in wars whose weapons, rapidly developed by servile scientists, will become more and more deadly until they can with a flick of the finger tear a million of you to pieces.”

Good production but where is the melody? Quite possibly the flattest song I've ever heard. Fair play to Sitek for turning this into something resembling a decent song.
Do we know who wrote it? Sounds like Gem to me.

It's certainly a bit different. Only listened to it once and it didn't really grab my attention. I was expecting it to take off at some point. Some songs do grow on you over time though.

can't believe anyone is slagging those off who don't like it. I am a neutral as far as Noel/Liam are concerned and if it was good i'd say just like I did with Four Letter Word, the live versions of Bring the Light, Wigwam ect; i'd probably love this live, it just feels like Liam is holding back and is a bit too nasal, the quote takes up too much of the song and one or 2 other things make it seem flat. I like the horns, no problem with the lyrics so far either.

LOVE IT! reminds me of being 8 years old and going apeshit to the opening music of the movie "Enter the Dragon" with Bruce Lee! i really love Lalo Schifrin movie music and these horns give this vibe to Beady Eye. and the best thing about it.... IT SOUNDS NOTHING LIKE OASIS!!!

Gonna give it a bit more time before I make a judgement on it. Not impressed with Liam's vocal though.

We cannot really ask for a song that pretends to be something it is not, or to be more precise, we cannot really ask the artist to make the art we desire, because thats their vision.
you either like it or not, is that simple.
