If they do, they should use the pink sky graffic like on the official website. And they will probably use it for a backdrop live, like Noel did with NGHFB

Listened to it again on the soundcloud page. Better quality, but I still utterly hate how flat the drums sound. And it still sounds like 45 seconds worth of melody stretched out across near four minutes with a random quote at the end. I love the horns, but after the first minute it gets old for me. Decent song, but I don't see anything special about it. I'd be happy if we hear the album and this turns out to be one of the of the bottom tracks. I agree it should be in the bottom of the album in terms of individual quality. If this were one of the "best" tracks in terms of songwriting I'll be disappointed. But not every track needs to be single material. Some can just serve the album. My overall feelings about the worthiness of this track will likely rest on how it feeds into the rest of the album it's on. I hope you two have fun in being together sorta-but-not-really enjoying the album and bringing up 'songwriting' in every thread about it hoping that everyone will stop and listen to your justified and intelligent opinions and stop liking the album so much to join you in sorta-but-not-really enjoying the album. Hey, you know what album you two might like? Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - I hear it has some great "songwriting" on it

Reminds me a bit of Scorpio Rising, quite progressive. Production is great. Agree that it wouldn't be a good first single but as an album track it's perfect!

quoted from another thread: Zane played Flick Of The Finger. Begins at 52:35. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01rq9hfEdit. After the song he says "What a cracking return for Beady Eye. Not the first official single. That will get its first play very soon at Radio 1." FOTF is NOT the first single then.

Well he has told a bare faced lie by proclaiming 'what a cracking return from Beady Eye' , why should we believe he's not lying about it not being the single either..

How many times does it need to be said that it isn't the single for people to believe it?

Well he has told a bare faced lie by proclaiming 'what a cracking return from Beady Eye' , why should we believe he's not lying about it not being the single either.. o·pin·ion [uh-pin-yuhn] noun 1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty. 2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal. 3. the formal expression of a professional judgment: to ask for a second medical opinion. 4. Law. the formal statement by a judge or court of the reasoning and the principles of law used in reaching a decision of a case. 5. a judgment or estimate of a person or thing with respect to character, merit, etc.: to forfeit someone's good opinion.

Then you've never been on acid Cause you either chill out or go manic. I speak from experience.

It's a step in the right direction. Production is lovely but as spaneli said the drums are flat and the song can get a bit monotonous overtime, would've loved a build or a guitar solo in there or a building coda instead of the dialog at the end. With that said it is a promising start and has me a little bit more excited for the album which is a good thing cause I can't tell you the last time I even played a Beady Eye song.

Believe me, I've had good acid. And my friend, who does yoga randomly, did about three strips and literally went bonkers. haha

I just vomited (not because it was ugly, but because it's disturbing for the eyes)
