Gotta agree the less 'beat goes on' the better - listened to DGSS for the first time in a little while last night and still think its an ok album. Nothing more, nothing less. The Beat Goes On however is without doubt my least favourite song ever produced by either Gallagher

Is it at all possible that the single will be "World Not Set in Stone"? or has it been confirmed it wont be?

Is it at all possible that the single will be "World Not Set in Stone"? or has it been confirmed it wont be? Pretty certain it won't be, they weren't even sure if it would get on the album and denizz and the other members who've heard it would probably have recognised it. |

could be, that we will read the title of the upcoming single in one of the twitter accounts, like last time when liam said something about the singer of the La's and wrote "worlds not set in stone Lee Mavers" (or how this guy is called)

The Beat Goes On however is without doubt my least favourite song ever produced by either Gallagher What?? "The Beat Goes On" is like the worst song, EVER. SERIOUSLY. Even more than "Magic Pie". But NOOOOO, that was produced by Owen Morris. OHHHH, NEVERMIND, HEHE. |

How come people on this forum LOVED TBGO when they first heard it? I remember everyone comparing it to LET IT BE and being up in arms that it wasn't the first single...

I have a theory that because it was singled out in a few of the early review as a highlight when people first heard the song they had such good will toward it that they liked it a bit more. All the anticipation. They as time wore on the novelty wore off and people realized it wasn't so great or epic. |

I quite like The Beat Goes On, much better than at least 3 or 4 songs off DOYS, it would deserve to be on any post 2000 oasis album imo
