I hope they release the song with a real video this time. Not a cheap-arse production.

Not too bothered about the videos tbh, Noel's videos (apart from The Death Of You And Me) were absolutely terrible imo. I thought The Roller and Four Letter Word were pretty cool tbh

The production/mixing will have to carry this record. Beady Eye can't shine in spite of shyte production like how Noel did with his song writing strength alone on NGHFB.
Sitek and Stent are the two most talented people involved in this project. It'll be a good album if those two shoulder a heavy load and make their presences heard on the record. If they fail to do that it'll be the same ole DGSS level turd.

I don't know why, but I keep thinking this song is going to be unbearable. I really really hope I'm going to be surprised though. But listening to Bring The Light and The Roller made me shudder. The Roller would be fine if I'd never heard of John Lennon, but everything is derivative about that song right down to a tee (like the echoey vocals) and is just so obsessively fanatic about Lennon it becomes on disturbing. I can just see Gem and Liam listening to something original and saying 'it's shit, it doesn't sound like The Beatles'.
I really hope they've broadened their horizons on this record. If not, then there's no hope for them.

the single sounds nothing like anything beady eye have done before have you heard the single again or is this just from the 90 sec clip you heard the other day? im also worried that the new single and album are gonna be crap. they really have to up their game from dgss. for me this is a make or break album for the band- if its as bad as dgss why bother making another?? lets hope they have learned from their mistakes first time round, mainly not rushing things and spending more time on the songwriting. i really want them to prove me wrong so i have a cool new album to listen to soon but i am nervously waiting to hear the new material. i love all the guys, liam, andy and gem but if the album isnt up to scratch i aint gonna lie and bullshit about it being decent like a lot of people do on here. im hoping andy is gonna have a massive song on the album- i think hes had some good riffs and vibes in a few of his songs (three ring circus was one of my faves on dgss) but they have stopped short of being a GREAT song.

I'd rather they did something different and got it wrong than made another DGSS.

ive talked to the plugger guy again, he's with a record company/distributor called PIAS. Their office recieved a 4 track promo on friday. He's only heard two tracks and he was pretty impressed with them. He refuses to give me any details but I'll stalk him to somehow get the songs out there.

the single sounds nothing like anything beady eye have done before I'm happy with that tbh, Liam is at his best when he's not trying to be Lennon that vintage and dreamy sound doesn't suit him that much imo, I don't even think it suited Lennon tbh, he was better in the Beatles when he used to sing rock and roll, his solo career is a bit dull imo. Liam HAS to stay clear from the Beat Goes On-type songs and if he has then I'm excited for it

I'm downloading the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album produced by Dave Sitek. Looking to see what soundscapes he has been creating recently. The man can PRODUCER. All hands on deck for this!
