Before We Die series 2 on Channel 4 (previously All4 which I usually still call it). It's been really good so far and I've got one more episode to watch.

Still watching Succession, nearly done Season 3 now. It's a good show that makes you go back to watch. But I have no idea why as it's quite repetative

Raiders of the Lost Ark
Films like this one don't get made today, and with that I DON'T mean films that are really good, but movies that have a bunch of stuff and plot to go through but are shorter than two hours. Remembering the movie and putting it on yesterday I thought "gotta be at least 2h20", but excluding the end credits it's not even 1h50! That sounds rushed, but the pacing is pretty much perfect, it's exactly as long as it needs to be.
If it was made today you just KNOW it would be at least 2h30, and I'm seeing that the new movie... is 2h34, of fucking course.

Blindspot episode one on Channel 5 last night. It's really good, I thought it would be after seeing the trailer for it and reading about it in the TV book.

I doubt very much that I will watch that new drama which starts on Channel 5 tomorrow as I just don't fancy it and I don't like that Danny Dyer much.

I've recently watched "Wham!" I would not call myself a fan, but being a kid in the 80ies there was no way around them and I like the songs I know (well, apart from "Last christmas" but that's not the song's fault). I'd love to believe that it really was that harmonious, but Andrew Ridgeley almost came out like a Saint, happily stepping aside for his friend and never feeling any resentment? Really? Or am I just an old cynic?
Anyway, it was fun to watch!

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
I liked some aspects of it, disliked others. Although a minimum runtime of two-and-a-half hours seems to be mandatory for mainstream movies nowadays, that is still a lot of movie to try to take in in one sitting -- like listening to a 70 minute album. So I want at least another viewing before I can try to make sense of the film overall. I don't know whether that'll be in the coming weeks at the cinema, or in a year or two when it plays on telly.
One thing I did enjoy without any reservation was getting to listen to a new score from the maestro John Williams. It sounded wonderful playing through the screening room's (to my ears) fantastic sound system!
