Because I like movies as much as I like music, and I'm hoping more members do too Inspired by the album thread Movies that you watched anywhere, not necessarily at the theater I can't say whether I liked it or not. I need to watch it again before giving an opinion

Making 'Chaos and Creation in the Backyard' - Macca was in top form. Really enjoyed the documentary.

Dr Strangelove by Kubrick....F****in' Great ! My all-time favorite director (next to Robert Bresson). Love almost every Kubrick movie. I would love all of them, but there's still one of the 13 that I have not seen.

I saw that new X-Men film at the cinema recently - I'm not into comic books at all (I was a Beano and Dandy kid) but I thought it was rather good.
Desperatlely need to go and see that Ayrton Senna film also - everyone is saying it's great, even those who aren't in to F1.

Mel Gibson must be trying to sue over the Braveheart references. The most funniest movie I ever had fun seeing.

Nowhere boy.
Second time I watched it, seemed a lot more fictional than the first time.

Apocalypto. Mel Gibson is an underrated genius.
Also puttishin, I wonder if you've seen The New World? It's Terence Malick's finest film imo.
