Hollington Drive the new drama on ITV last night. I think that it's going to be really good and it's full of twists and turns just what I like.

I haven't quite finished watching The Yard season one on Netflix yet but I'll finish it later. I hope that they'll continue to carry on making this as it's good.

Thursday - Knebworth Saturday - Dune That's more cinema then in the last few years, even before Covid!  "Dune" was awesome. I love the book(s) and was already halfway in love with that movie when I saw the cast. And I was right! Near perfect cast, great adaption, stunning pictures ==> brilliant movie! Now please bring on part II.  So the apparently unfilmable Dune is good? I remember playing a video game based on the book but that's as far as I've got! Is the book good because I might dig it out. |

It is very good actually, both the film as well as the book. Filming that one was helped, I guess, by the director apparently being a fan himself (and being a great director!) and taking his time with it, as this time it is only the first part of the book. So you and everyone else certainly should go, so we will get the second part, which as far as I know has not been greenlit yet, but it's looking good.  But I went with one co-fan and one who had not read the book herself, they both liked it as well, so you do not have to know the book to enjoy the film.
I read the book when I was 15 and did not understand it really, but I loved it! When I reread it last year (being old and wise now, thinking we'd get the film then), I loved it even more. So, I'd say, try it!

There's 35 episodes altogether of The Yard season 2. I didn't realise there was that many. So if I don't finish it tonight it'll be tomorrow when I finish it.
