I agree completely. I'd be happy to share this CD here if I had it but the way some people are now complaining would seriously give me second thoughts.

Anyway, for all we know this CD is being used as "leverage" to scare up some other rare material. Just be patient and if we're lucky the owner may be kind enough to share not only these demos but some other material as well. These things take time and patience.

Don't know why everyone is getting that bent out of shape. Maybe it's the extra frustration that the board felt like they were really close to purchasing the demo disc that included Oh Lord. Maybe that is why everyone is acting like we have more of a right to it than we usually do? But we need to realize that this CD isn't any more in existence than it had been last week and we were perfectly happy. The only that has changed is that we are aware of it and have a piece of it to listen to thanks to a generous soul.

There is tons of stuff out there that isn't in our hands...thinking about it will drive you crazy. And hassling the one guy that did the exactly the selfless thing that many people are wanting, sharing the music for free, is a sure way to ensure it never happens again.

Joakim, thank you much for what you have shared. We're all happy about it even if some people have a funny way of showing it.

That's the thing, joakim hasn't said he was uploading anything.

People are just assuming he is going too put the demos out there because he said check the forum this weekend.

And to perfectly honest after reading some of the posts where you have ungrateful leeches coming out of the woodwork I wouldn't be surprised if nothing comes at all.

It has descended into nonsense. At the start I put this out there and asked for no trolling or fighting and we had a chance for the forum to come together well for once and we seen the good side, however the circumstances changed when we couldn't buy the demos and it came out joakim has the CD.

Yet again the bad side of this place comes out, the ungrateful show up and start their pish, it makes you wonder why anyone bothers.

I suppose everyone who has criticised me is right. I'm just desperate to hear new stuff! But that doesn't give me the right to be a whiney little git. Apologies to all for potentially jeopardising the demos being posted on here. Will sit patiently and quietly and hope we get the chance to listen to some utterly magnificent music, courtesy of a very generous fan.

Who the fuck are you to make a demand like this? Joakim is the one who chose to come here and make a statement and sharing a track. If he doesn't clear it up and people choose to ream him for it, it's the bed that he made.

It's one thing to respect a collector's wishes. It's another thing to dangle a carrot in front of the forum, say this, that, or the other thing is going to happen, and then backtracking or not saying a word in follow up.

I'm not accusing joakim of anything or making any demands of him. I'm perfectly satisfied with what he initially stated when this started to blow up and am fine with waiting for word on whats going on. But you have no business at all making demands or statements like this to anyone on this forum. It was joakim's choice to bring this entire situation to the masses and if a couple of people decide to throw that back in his face if he chooses not to follow through or not explain anything, its no fucking business of yours. Get your nose out of his joakim's ass, collector boy.

Here's what I dont get. This is probably the 5th or 6th time something like this has happened with this fanbase in respect to someone has X rare material. It happened with Lomax. It happened with that Jamie fellow. And it probably happened with someone else. Whats funny is its the same shit happening again. Lomax shares some random Zanzibar tracks minus the one everyone wants to hear. Jamie first released (to the masses anyway) some random DBTT demos minus the ones everyone wants to hear, which were finally leaked after he shared them with someone who chose to share them (I wonder who that was lol). They both got boiled alive basically because of the way that whole thing went down. Now, its happening again. Someone has X but isnt sharing. Considering all his experience, did he expect his situation to go differently than the other two? Congrats to whoever scored the disc, but if you're going to dangle a carrot, at least have a good excuse as to why you're not following through, if that turns out to be the case.
