ok here is an update from my end. I woke up this morning 9am (Australia time) and the checked the britpop. uk website. It said that the Noel Demo CD was back in stock. I made the purchase and everything was dandy. Since this is Joakim's show i contacted him saying i just purchased a copy but will leave the uploading to him, when he decides to upload the other 2 tracks that's up to him. I just came home from work and received an email saying my order had been cancelled cause the item was not in stock and it was a website site error. I am gutted as i would have loved it for my collection, so for now Joakim is the only one i know of who has the CD. Thanks again to Joakim for being such a champ.

i was actually planning on donating the money to buy these demos till someone snatched them up for them selfs. so where is the topic. i don't see any reasons why traders and collectors should keep things for themselves I wonder if you would have the same attitude if you had just forked out a small fortune for am extremely rare bootleg??  |

What annoys me most is, people start to scream like "more, more, more" and "faster, faster, faster". Nobody has rights to tell "do it NOW and MORE!" to those who's kind enough to share rare materials for free.
Be happy what you get. Appreciate and respect efforts of those who are willing to share those rare material with fellow fans. Being greedy leads you nowhere.

I can see why people hoard stuff. If it was me and I was met with choruses of "This song is shit, I WANT MOAR!!!!" I'd be hesitant to share anything.
I mean, Joakim released !!Oh Lord!! and barely anyone is talking about the song just what else they can get for free.

There's risks after all. we understand what your saying mate, but you have to understand not all traders and collectors keep things for themselves just to feel superior. I am happy to upload anything from my collection but for those rare items i need to keep them to myself so i can use them to obtain other un-circulated media. If i trade with certain traders who request for me not upload there material i have to abide by that or else my trading days are over. you are part of the greatest oasis fan forum on internet, so much has surfaced over the years on this very site. and trust me much more rare material will continue to surface, it may not be this week or next month or even this year but things will surface. |
