I'm not a fan of Acquiesce and All around the world,I really like The Hindu Times and Sunday Morning Call I think that the alternative version of Waiting for the rapture is better than the album version Heathen Chemistry is the worst Oasis album, now i really like DOYS and SOTSOG

when i was younger i thought noel sang wonderwall and liam sang don't look back in anger. Those were the only 2 songs i had at the time as i taped them off the radio.

I find it difficult to listen to oasis as ive over played them over the years.
To me Eyeball Tickler sounds like a lost Lennon song from 67/68, the only oasis song ive listened to and thought The Beatles couldve wrote it.

Let There Be Love is the most boring Oasis song ever.

I don't like Talk Tonight, solely because of the "strawberry lemonade" lyric.

I always "rediscover" oasis songs. I don't know, an average song can appear AWESOME in all of a sudden, for a few days, and i'd find myself very hooked. It's happening these days with force of nature, for example. I think learning the songs in the guitar has something to do. But i swear, i almost always have a random oasis song to be hooked to.

The Importance Of Being Idle must be of the most overrated Oasis songs ever. I mean, it is a good song, but it seems to be almost gloryfied by some fans. Just no.
I have probably never heard Born On A Different Cloud in its entirety, I always get bored in the middle of the song.

I actually like Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is. I also like the music video for All Around the World. And no, I'm not taking the piss, I'm being totally serious. I realise I may be a minority of one though.

I like All around the world's video too! I'm not a fan of the song, you know,9 minutes, but I like the video I don't like Who feels Love and I'm not a fan of Go Let it Out (Gas panic is miles better) and Lyla (when I listen to that i Remember part of mi childhood, but I'm not a fan),I really like Little by Little AND,yes,I prefer the HFB version

I guess this a confession of sorts not a oasis confession but a oasis related confession I love the band oasis too much to get worked up and debate the pros and cons of BDI and HFP just don't care enough to even debate the songs , track listings ect ect..hope they both rock go number 1 everywhere Ill stick with oasis and debate that and other bands and such but as my friends here know I tried to get into it but it just ain't happening for me , leaves me cold ...maybe cause I love the concept of oasis too much to try but that's my confession , glad you guys love it and debate it , it keeps forum alive ill stick to oasis and other bands plus bust Let It🩸 chops and have fun in lounge and post about other stuff , other bands, oasis , and life shit . If that means some will not like this post and knock me , make fun , whatever go head ill just tap like above your post and be on my way Guess that's a confession and it does deal with oasis just not my oasis The fragmented remains of the band I travelled to see all over the USA and Europe Edit and anyone who remembers me knows how much it kills me not to debate but I will not bring a opinion to the forum that is biased against the lads or intelligent enough to keep up with the likes of some you who have the passion for the new stuff. And want to debate with someone who really has the same passion . When you want a debate on oasis or other bands. Ill always put my two cents in

I bloody love PYMWYMI and ICSAL, and I can't for the life of me figure out why everybody hates them. I Can See A Liar is one of those tracks on an album that rocks and is relatively awesome, but doesn't fit in it's place - it seems off where it is to me, but I'm glad it's there.

I bloody love PYMWYMI and ICSAL, and I can't for the life of me figure out why everybody hates them. I tend to believe that these songs get a lot more hate in English speaking countries, than in non-English speaking countries, because of the lyrics. Since I live in Slovakia, I don't care that much for foreign lyrics, and that's why I can enjoy the ''musical'' side of the song more. But when I listen to some of Slovak songs, my ears are fuckin' bleeding, the lyrics are that horrible. I can imagine what it's like for native English speakers to listen to such lyrics as 'I can see a liar, sitting by the fire', translated to Slovak language they sound ridiculous to me. But still, when I listen to foreign songs, I don't automatically translate the lyrics in my head, I just enjoy the music, something I can't do with my native music.

I think a lot of people dislike those songs because Oasis left better material for b-sides during a time when the they desperately needed their best tunes on their albums. LAMB, One Way Road and a version of Full On with Liam singing blew those tracks away. I never listen to ICSAL. The only thing holding back PYMWYMI is the lack of a second verse. Too repetitive. Might have sounded great live though in 2000.

All my opinion
my favorite Oasis song is "Underneath the sky"
my favorite song on BHN is "Fade In Out"
my favorite song off HC is "Born on a different cloud"
I wish "Those Swollen Hand Blues" was the end half of "Mucky Fingers" like a mix I have
the singles for SOTSOG should have been GLIT, GP and then "lets all make believe" which should have been on that album, instead of Sunday Morning Call... also Full On should have been on their as well
I don't really like "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" or "Little By Little" very much... I think they sound like Noel writing ballads for the sake of writing ballads and they are a bit cliche and whiny. I use to enjoy both a lot. I really think You've got the heart of a star would have been better in place of LBL on HC
Sometimes when Liam sings live I feel embarrassed for him
I think of NGHFB & BE had combined their efforts and Liam sung a few of the HFB tunes (Record Machine as the 7 minute epic it was planed to be) their was a good chance Oasis could have made the best album of their career

At the time when it came out those two (and Little James) were seen as the weak tracks. I think Noel even admitted this at the time. PYMWYMI is just a dirge - a Doors rip off, goes nowhere, it's just a groove that's half finished. I Can see a Liar at least is a fully formed song, just lyrically very clunky - good tune though, that live version on French telly is decent. That one certainly isn't in my worst Oasis songs of all time list, though PYMWYMI definitely is. The rest of the SOTSOG b-sides (Let's All Make Believe aside) are getting a lot of slack here. Interesting that at the time most of them were seen as Noel-Rock plod-a-longs (One Way Road in particular), and now being recommended for the album. I imagine lots would be saying the same thing had the aforementioned tracks been b-sides initially (apart from Let's All Make Believe, which is in their top 3 songs since Bonehead/Guigs left)!!

Aren't you basically proving my point? Those were weakly written tunes. Noel had better material used as b-sides. SOTSOG only had 9 songs with vocals, 2 of them by Noel. Oasis needed stronger material and more of it during Noel's "down" songwriting period.
