What are you trying to say? That Oasis weren't always a hundred percent original? Oh no! "Good Artists Copy; Great Artists Steal" , but there is such a thing as covering your tracks too... Like The La's didn't with Feelin'/My Girl Sits Like A Reindeer and The Beatles I Feel Fine?

I love DM, but not so much the guitar sound. They used epiphone guitars! And not the good ones , the cheep ones, because they couldn't afford real guitars. Thats a NO NO in the music business. I hate that. There I said it. Are they the guitars that make that weird sound on "The Birdie Song"? (Sorry I'll get my coat ) In all seriousness they used a number of different guitars, well Noel at least, and still created a great LP. I prefer that to the bands of my school days or independent label recordings where I invariably ended up playing bass guitar for someone who had thousands of pounds worth of high end gear and zero idea how to create a great song or even sound with it

The guitars on DM are so fucking distorted sometimes that you can't hear the deifference between a gibson and an epiphone. By the way these japanese and korean rivieras are great guitars. It depends more on the amps. You can get an awesome sound with an epiphone through a great amp.

I sometimes feel the need to justify my "love" for Oasis and the Gallaghers.

I've never listened to Heathen Chemistry or Standing On The Shoulder of Giants all the way through. Don't even try HC. By the time LBL comes on you want to turn your player off. That is if you already don't want to as soon as The Hindu Times starts.

I can honestly say I really hate Liams voice after SOTSOG. His voice gets worse and worse the older he gets. I adore Liam, but seriously he lost his vocals years ago...

I've never managed to listen through the whole of BHN in one sitting, it's too much for me. with that said, it's still my favourite one out of the 7 albums.

I barely listen to Definitely Maybe any more. I find the recording boring and, even though I do 100% appreciate what it done and how important to history it is, I just can't listen to it. I listen to Be Here Now the most followed by Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants

Everybody's On The Run might be Noel's best written song, EVER.

Everybody's On The Run might be Noel's best written song, EVER. Freaky Teeth is better Noel wrote that tune after Liam met some businessmen in Munich. True story.

I think Who Feels Love is dull and boring. And I always forget that it exists. Luckily, it's not the worst track on SOTSOG - that title goes to Little James (which is actually kinda enjoyable yet cringeworthy).

With One Way Road (for trivia fans the cover Weller did is the theme to the sitcom Lead Balloon) and Helter Skelter. Single is worth it for those two alone.

One Way Road is definitely better than WFL, though it's depressing even by SOTSOG standards. Never cared for that Helter Skelter cover. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING will ever compare to the ferocious, savage monster that is the original.
