I just think Liam talking shit about Noel then using his songs is embarrassing. I don't have a problem with Oasis tunes as lobas they are his, Andy's or Gem's. Made me lose the last bit of respect I had for him. Good thing is Liam doesn't care what you or a couple of other little bitches have to say about Liam singing Oasis songs, and guess what, neither do we.

Made me lose the last bit of respect I had for him. Noel in his set (and they're his songs and has every right to play any of them before anybody says anything) (It's Good) To Be Free Mucky Fingers Wonderwall Supersonic The Importance of Being Idle Little By Little Talk Tonight Half The World Away Don't Look Back in Anger + Whatever swapped for whichever song it was (can't remember top of my head) Beady Eye (remember they didn't even use a single Oasis song until yesterday) Rock n Roll Star Morning Glory Big difference there and Liam's voice made both of those songs, no he didn't write them but would they have become what they are to Oasis fans if Noel had sung them? Course they wouldn't, so he has every right to sing a few too (any more than 4 Oasis songs no matter who wrote them is too much, so if this happens in the future i'll happily take this statement back and suck on your toes) Part of the reason I hardly post on here, especially since the split is the daft anti Noel/Liam (more Liam) comments on here. Noel is the better songwriter by far and obviously his album was better, Beady Eye's album is nowhere near as good but with the b-sides added to the good from the album they have quite a few decent songs, also I would say there is a bit more about their songs when played live which should be taken in to consideration. I wouldn't mind the anti Liam/Noel stuff if it was a bunch of kids but it seems the majority have been posting here for years now and you'd have thought maybe they had grown up a bit If you don't like Noel then fair enough, if you don't like Beady Eye then fair enough again, it's just tiresome seeing people jump in to threads about either just for the sake of getting their petty dig in. I understand that one or the other may release a new song and someone hears it and doesn't like it, that part is fair game to be commented on, it's the getting on a thread about one of them purely to slag them off for something petty like this which is annoying.

I was thinking more Headshrinker. Rocking Chair. I Hope I Think I Know. Maybe Hung in a Bad Place or Eyeball Tickler if you wanted a LAG song. So many really. As much as i love those songs and as much as id like them to play them im glad they're not because there's no way liam could do them justice anymore

Agree with the above post about the anti Noel/Liam shit. We've had these arguments before, its boring, the battle lines are drawn and nobody is going to change their mind, must we go through this shit again?

Was dubious about them singing Noel penned songs but when the opening bars of RNRS blasted out and the crowd went mental I couldn't help having a big smile on my face...
Say what you like about Liam, but after close to two decades sings that, he still means every word of it doesn't he?

Not you in particular, but I stated very early that every whiner saying it's wrong for Oasis singer singing Oasis song, wouldn't care after the first note of a classic being played. And that's exactly what's happning, it's just so good to hear Liam singing MG and RNR star again that almost all the whiners have changed their mind and nobody's complaning about that anymore. It's an healthy reaction for fans, I'm glad everyone enjoying those versions.
