Why cant a single journo grasp that Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds is not a band? Or resist the urge to make a cliched bird pun? Also, this one seems to think the FD remix was called "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble" for some reason.

^It was "Falling Down (Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Mix)" or something along those lines, it wasn't renamed "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble".

Every time I listen to it there seems to be more structure to the piece and it feels more like a typical song.

^It was "Falling Down (Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Mix)" or something along those lines, it wasn't renamed "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble". The 22 minute jobby is officially Falling Down (A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Mix). "Falling Down (A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Mix Part 4)" is on Amorphous Androgynous' own "A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding in Your Mind: Volume 2". There's also a version that was exclusive to MOJO magazine called Falling Down (The Amorphous Androgynous MOJO Mix), which is a bit wank. I dont really care for SAHITS. Its not terrible, but the repetition is a little monotonous unless I'm stoned silly. It had much more of an impact on me pre-gig. I'd also like to see about 2 minutes of it edited off as it is now. If anyone hasnt heard of these and wants to get an idea of what else AA may have done, listen to these records: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Monstrous_Psychedelic_Bubble_Exploding_in_Your_Mind:_Volume_1en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Monstrous_Psychedelic_Bubble_Exploding_in_Your_Mind:_Volume_2There's also a volume 3. I find it interesting there's no wiki on #3, as its the best one. www.guardian.co.uk/music/2010/dec/02/amorphous-androgynous-3rd-ear-reviewThe first one is what pushed Noel to these guys in the first place.

Chasing Yesterday needed at least one mix from these guys. I was listening to SAHITS, WAL, and the Falling Down mixes the other day, think the take on What A Life ended up being better than Shoot A Hole. Not that we didn't get any good mixes, but CY had a lot of room for it unlike NGHFB. My take on it now that mossy was on a liking spree anyway.

Hey Jessica, I don't know if you're already aware, but at one point the AA were mooted to remix CY, but when the album was announced and they saw the tracklist/credits they pulled out because they felt Noel had ripped them off on The Right Stuff & The Mexican for which they felt they deserved writing credits. Incidentally it'll be interesting to see the credits for his third album because in recent interviews he used the word "we" multiple times when describing how he's writing songs in the studio for the "first" time.
