Noel does Radiohead. So people hated The Good Rebel because Noel says "Rain" 15 times, but these same people love this pointless background music where Noel says the same line several times, repeated with 100 "Sun"s? Ok. The last 2 minutes are the only decent parts. Most pointless thing I ever heard. Makes High Horse Lady look like The Masterplan. thankyou!! i really do not like this song one bit, its repetitive and just ridiculous. goes to show what some people will listen to when their favourite artist releases it

Cant' find what song you're talking about. And it's not just a bside, it's on the AA album, the whole album may sound like this. Get used to it. God help us all, then. So what's "IPYET" was for ?

But I'm pleasently surprised every time he tries something new. (FITB, WAL, Setting Sun, ...) All of this songs shows Noel out of his pop folk rock habbits and they're all great. I find SAHITS much more interesting and exiting than a Dream on. But I wouldn't want him to stop doing some EOTR or IIAG as well, I just like to see him actually doing something new. I've been waiting quite some time for him to do something different, he does it with taste, I can't complain.

After a few listens, I decided, it's alright, quite cool... But not something I could have on loop... Average.

Gave up smoking a few years ago and this tune made me want to take up the habit again. I guess thats a compliment haha.

Maybe you'll realize that "OH NO EVERYONE, EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC" was not invented by Radiohead, nor are they the only modern band that could be considered experimental. This sounds almost nothing like Radiohead. And if you want say it sounds like King of Limbs, I really want you to try and listen to this tune and that album again.

Well, is a really nice song, but remember, this is a REMIX. What we can talk about Freaky Teeth? The version of the record will be the same that Noel plays at his shows?
I doubt the entire album be like Shoot a Hole Into the Sun, would be tiresome, and I guess Noel thinks a lot about this.

I like it, but I'm afraid if the songs on the album will sound more like a remix than proper songs, like this, however proper songs with this kind of production would sound great. I like this song but you have a great point there. A proper song treated like this could sound amazing, and that's what I expect from the album. Here's to hope that's what happens or else it could get a bit boring.

I don't understand the strategy of releasing the b-sides before the singles come out.
The main reason for any fan to buy the singles after the album release is to hear the b-sides - especially this one!
So why let people hear it early..?

My take is very confusing.
I LOVE If I Had A Gun. It's easily my favorite Gallagher song post-break up and is definitely in my top 5 all-time Gallagher song.
However, my favorite parts of the song are the lines
"Excuse me if I spoke too Soon, My Eyes Have Always" "Hope I Didn't speak too Soon, My Eyes Have Always" "Let Me Fly You to the Moon, My Eyes Have Always"
This version only has 'Let Me Fly You to the Moon". BUT I still love the song.
I will admit, I probably wouldn't give it much of a chance if it was another band and it was not an alternate version. However, the fact that it's a re-constructed version of one of my all-time favorite songs, makes it really interesting and enjoyable. I'll never love it like the original but it is a great bonus to me.
I'm just really happy that Noel would do this. I expect to love the fact that he's making this album more than the music itself. However, the fact that this song is good is a great start.

Sounds like forced psychedelia to me. Shite. I hate when Noel uses the P word cos he only seems to be receptive to the obvious, clichéd stuff. There's no form to this at all it just trundles along without any increase in tension or energy. Not impressed with AA.

Yeah, but mind you that this song is more an AA product than Noel. It's a collaboration, I still can feel Noel in the song, the melody, the guitar break... But Noel elements appears more randomly than on purpose, seems like AA made the sound and put Noel lines and guitars on it just for the sake of it.
