What goes through this mans brain sometimes confuses the hell out of me: "Hmmm...I've got Slide Away, Whatever, The Masterplan, Going Nowhere, Cast No Shadow in my repitore, but nah, fuck it, I'll play Mucky Fingers" "Hmmm...I've written Let's All Make Believe and Full On but nah, fuck it, let me include Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is and I Can See A Liar" The mind boggles. he's been playing those for 20 years, it's a relief to hear something "new" you sound like one of those girls who only come for wonderwall!

Totally. We've got hundred of live versions of Slide Away with Noel or Liam on vocals. We have dozens of recent versions of The Masterplan including the one with the full treatment from the proms. Noel played CNS in most of his acoustic shows and I think ditto for Whatever including also playing it on the last Oasis tour at Wembley. Why the hell are people so upset about hear something like MF? I mean, it's not my favorite tune, but it's not like it's FON or anything. I'm glad we are getting a set list that is a bit more off beat than Noel's stereotypical best of 1995-1998 TCT gig song choices. I'm glad to have something from mid-era Oasis. (although I'd prefer POTQ since it has never been played live at all)

For the person asking about the merch, I can say one thing: EXPENSIVE!! had a very quick look, the T's looked ok, but €30!! So sod that. No one was selling bootleg ones outside, probably because it was pissing down though. I see a few people complaining about the sound quality on peoples recordings of the gig. Not heard myself yet, since i'm still in Ireland. When I get home i'll have a listen and see if i can do anything to improve it (I am a mastering engineer, so should be able to do something).

WOW! What a gig. Front and centre. Queued for ages in the rain but I was only about 2-3 meters from Noel. He seemed in great spirits (after the 6-1 of course he would be!) but fuck me, what a gig. Set list was great. 11 HFB song and 9 oasis songs. All songs by Noel Gallagher. No more to add to that. If you don't want to hear oasis songs at his gigs please don't buy tickets, the people who are happy to hear them would appreciate them more. You people are worse than the people who still boo Dylan for going electric but I wouldn't expect anything else from Jilliam and lgfavar. They do nothing but moan.
A snippet of AA's IIHAG was played before the gig. Female vocals. Then Blue Moon. Wonderwall and Supersonic on his own was class.
As for Merch, I bought two (large) T-Shirts for €20 each and a set of badges for €5. There was a bag as well but I didn't get that. The albums (CD, CD/DVD and LP). Never saw so many LPs sold at once in my life. Don't know where someone saw €30 T-shirts. No tour program which was disapointing.
As soon as he started the new song I thought it was FT. It sounded like a Bond theme and I could have sworn he said FT during the song. Definitely not If there's a god.
Roll on February!

Strange that there's no merch on his website yet! Oh and the LP being sold that much is kinda weird? You'd think everyone who managed to get a ticket (and proably payed over the ods for it) would at least have the album already?!

Was offered €300 for my tickets before the gig. No chance.

Forgot to mention. Scully came around while we were queueing and filmed us on his phone asking us had we anything to say for the website and I met Phil the DJ inside at the gig. Proper inner circle me

Thanks man, enjoyed the mini-review How was Dream On Funny enough I thought it was one of the weaker tracks. Thought it would be great live but stuff like Broken Arrow (real highlight) went down a storm.

Great setlist! Do hope he'll insert A Simple Game Of Genius in the set at some point. Would love to hear that tune live..

Ahhh, dam, looks like I got the t shirt price wrong. I will confess to not looking long, seeing a shirt with a €30 tag next to it, was obviously for something else. Still people complain about him playing songs from the Oasis-era. Does seem a bit like going to a Macca gig and complaining when he plays a Beatles number...!
