I also want to add that I'm disappointed with the Oasis songs selection. Don't get me wrong, it's a bonus for his gigs, but still.
Mucky Fingers and It's Good to be Free? Really? In place of the likes of Masterplan, Slide Away, Whatever? Shocking.
I know he hardly ever alters his set, but I sure hope he does by the time Philadelphia Nov 11 rolls around. He has so many better tunes to pick from. Come on, Noel!

The Masterplan is great but he did it for all of the last Oasis tour, I don't think it's bad that he gave it a rest. Mucky Fingers needs to stay where it is.

Just got back to our hotel after the gig (well about half an hour ago now I've read this huge thread).
That was an awesome gig, absolutely brilliant. I've been to quite a few Oasis gigs over the years, and this was up there with the best. Great atmosphere, surprising, but welcome set list.
Fail to see why people are objecting to him playing some of his older songs, and even more bemused by people trying to tell Noel how to play his songs!
Also, found the speculation about the new song quite funny. Why do you lot assume that when you are told its a new song, assume it can't be, and you must know what it was despite not being at the gig??
Anyway, anyone still to see him, you are in for a treat!!
