Yeah he should push the album a little bit more, it´s doing a good ride but it´s clearly needing a big single now (at least)

In Finland, Noel never got higher than to #29 in the album's release week. The week after that the record had already dropped from Top 40. The current Top 10 comprises totally of Finnish acts, so Noel never really had a chance here:-).
The two music magazines in Finland had quite contradictory views: Rumba gave the album 4.5/5, praising Noel's melodies and singing and even his lyrics! Soundi had a 2/5 review, seeing the album as lukewarm and boring. However, Soundi readers who are asked to re-review the magazine's review have so far given the album a 4/5 verdict.
Otherwise, Noel has got very little exposure in Finland and there seems to be no hope he will ever play here.

Officially #16 on the Album Charts this week. Not too bad. I really hope he can make at least one jump up (with a little help of a strong single) before Christmas

Great chart run for Noel no matter what happens. He has shown great longevity with the performance of the album and AKA...WAL. Even though WAL didn't have a "high charting" it's longevity has been amazing. It's already outsold LTBL, TSOTL, , FD, and IOT. It's just been a great time for Noel in the UK.

Hopefully it'll creep up a bit with the Jools Holland appearance.
1-2-3-4-8-16 is the chart run so far.

Apparently sales last week were about 20K which is pretty decent for having been out 6 weeks.
Oasis released DOYS at the same time of year (October 8th) and by week six they were @ 31
UK sales sitting at around 282,000

It's had a nice chart run. Hopefully Christmas sales add to the total album sales.
It would have to take a massive single for it to significantly rise back up. And I really don't see that coming. I mean that's not say Noel doesn't have the caliber of songs to do it, but now that the album is out, no matter what b-sides you put on that single, it probably won't chart above #25.
For any single to make any significant dent, it would have to be pushed by Radio1. They have obviously shown that there are not willing to play his songs, and I don't think any song is going to change that. Especially, now that album has been released.
