So fingers crossed Noel gets that #1 album. He deserves it.
Biggest competition seems to be Cardle according to popular opinion.
Noel is #1 + #3 on the UK iTunes chart.
Cardle is #4.
It's only been out a few hours so presumably this is a reflection of the iTunes preorders? So that must mean that Noel has over double the iTunes preorders compared to Cardle. And Amazon had his preorders at over 10% more than Cardle.
Knock on wood...but hopefully the world ends up being as it should with Noel in the top slot!

i dunno. When I look at the itunes top 100 from where I'm viewing it, it says Steps is the #1 album.

My girlfriend said Cardle would outsell him and I told her that I guaranteed Noel would be #1. She'll have a field day if I'm wrong so he best get to the top.
I think Noel will though. I think he's more popular than Cardle anyway and if it's close, people buying more than one format is going to be much more prevalent for Noel.

I saw someone mention the TV ad...also seen NGHFB advertised on the front of Metro this morning (free paper available on trains and buses across the UK)
I wouldn't even know Cardle had an album out but for this forum. Reckon Noel will take this at a canter.

Lana Del Ray is ineligible to chart since it's an EP. Steps sales will have died down by midweek since everyone bought the album last week. Noel is the featured album in Amazon, #1 under Pop right now...

This will be amazing if he gets to number one again. Would mean that the first 8 studio albums he wrote all went to straight to number one (Oasis 7 + Noel solo 1), that has to be some kind of record  |

Combine the sales for both versions, it's definitely gonna get to the top if both versions are above Cardle anyway.

did they play anything off DOYS or DGSS ? Chris Moyles (R1) had NG in for the world premier of TSOTL, the interview was hilarious, he was still baked from the night before, it's up on YouTube somewhere. I remember getting up early to listen to it |

Beady Eye only got #3 I think. But that leaked 3 weeks early whereas this leaked 1 week early. #1's gon'appen.
