I think Adele will really fade in the mid to late 3 millions But idk man. This January will be her first year that the CD has been released. What's the future to come? What if her 3rd CD is really really popular too and it ends up boosting sales for 21. Much like 21 boosted sales to 19. Her album is about to beat Amy Winehouse's Back to Black for the fastest selling album of the century and will beat Shania Twain and Madonna's album for the best selling album by a female artist.
Does anyone think her third (very likely hyped) album will beat Be Here Now's fastest selling album in a week?

Does anyone think her third (very likely hyped) album will beat Be Here Now's fastest selling album in a week? It's possible, but it would have to have a very strong lead off single to spur it. Adele's fanbase isn't as fanatical as Oasis', or Take That or Arctic Monkeys etc., its a lot more casual - the kind of fans that will only buy an album if they really like a single off it and not just purely because of anticipation alone.

Over four million sales in a year! Adele's management must be over the moon with that! Is she any good? I have not heard a single note of her music?

Early night tomorrow GIMH. Big night Friday! Work is going to be so slow tomorrow. I have a job I enjoy though which involves me delivering six-week training programmes to new staff...as part of the training tomorrow we are having an Oasis quiz

Noel still at number 8 in midweeks

For anybody interested, I compared the first few weeks sales and chart runs with DOYS....
DOYS 200,866 -> 56,650 -> (Around 30k) CR: #1-2-7
NGHFB 122,530 -> 70,837 -> (Around 37k) CR: #1-2-4
So despite opening with less sales in the first week, he sold more in the 2nd and 3rd weeks along with a much more stable chart run.

Adele is at #9 this week and had a sales increase from last week. She sold 26,882 last week, so Noel must be above that amount.
AKA... WAL! falls from #31 to #43

I guarantee you, if Noel releases EOTR as a single, album sales will shoot right up. Everybody I know who's heard that song, fan or not, is blown away by that song.
Do it Noel. DO IT!

I know it is against all principles, but if he wants a sales boost, an appearance on the X Factor of If I Had A Gun would make it rocket up

WAL is just dropping off the charts now. It had quite a bit of staying power. There is no point pulling the support from that single until it's stopped preforming.
