Listened to the album many times since the leak. Finally got used to the production. I'm giving the album a vote of 9 now. Took a bit getting used to, but fuck me if this isn't a good album.

Thus far the poll is about what I expected to see. Some are more into it than others, but overall it is very positive feedback with very little as far as complaints.
Good on Noel to bring the fans together. We all know that the fans are the real nit-picky people when it comes to their music.

Solid 8 outta 10. Its a bit "overproduced" but nevertheless, its got a few epic's,and some solid stompy fillers. Good Solo debut.

Lol this is not thread worthy but I don't care...
Albums got a few epic's,some stompers and some nice fillers. Its a bit over produced.
Lovin: Broken Arrow,EOTR(overproduced tho),Dream On, iihag(another overproduced track) and Death of you and me.
Decent: all the rest. There isn't one bad track imo. But I'd rate RM,what a life and stc as my average tracks.
If I could change: the solo on RM is drowned out. Wish it was clearer ala "slash" guns n roses solo's.
And just to note, I personally like the burst of sound at the end of STC, imo its not a mess, its pretty genius.
In closing: I feel that noels got his "kitchen sink" album outta the way. So I'm expecting a simpler record next time around weather its with oasis or solo. Obviously excluding the AA record.
I'd give this album a Solid 4 outta 5 stars.

I pretty much agree except I'd put 'Record Machine' in with the overproduced tracks.
'If I Had Gun...' is a beautifully crafted song but fuck me it's horribly produced. 'Broken Arrow' is genius, probably my second favourite after 'Everybody's On The Run' which is mind blowing and the best song he's written in years.'Stop The Clocks' is a lot better than the demo but I do miss that original guitar solo.

Why the fuck does nobody like RM?. Second best song on the album (IIHAG first). I like "Let There Be Love" and "All Around The World" at first, in fact, I loved them, but now, "meh", cha know what I mean?

I've changed my rating to a 7. The more I listen to this album, the more I get the feeling that it's not going to be something that I'll be coming back to regularly in a year. It's better than Heathen Chemistry and DBTT, but SOTSOG (bar Little James) and DOYS are more musically mature albums, IMO. There's nothing on here as interesting as Gas Panic, Falling Down, The Turning, etc. A lot of posters here go on about IIHAG, but it's really by the numbers and quite dull, imo. I also think the lyrics on DOYS were Noel's best and am a bit disappointed that he's reverted to using lines like "try to wear my shoes, but they don't belong to you" and "all the money I waste, is it a matter of taste." They don't really do justice to the choir and string arrangements. TBH, I think if DOYS had the kitchen sink production of this album, a lot of posters here would prefer it. I still like the album and look forward to the AA album, which I think I will rate higher if the AA discography is any indication of its quality.

I never voted, but I'd give it a 7 now with What A Life still easily my favorite track.

I'm still in between a 9-9.5. The main reason for the 9 is because the quality of the songs on the album and him meeting sky high expectations. EOTR and IIHAG might be two of the best songs that Noel has written since BHN. And WAL, TDOYAM, RM, and BA would have been an album highlight on all of the post 2000's albums imo. And when I say album highlight, I mean the Top 1-4 or 1-5 on an album. Even songs like DO or SOTWB are good album tracks.
The quality of the songwriting on this album is staggering.
