Well, Its without any doubt the best Liam/Noel song post Oasis. The competition isnt that hard though. Noels first single was lame and Beady Eyes album was a disaster.

Feel sorry for those not getting this song, because you just won't ever be happy with Noel's songs.
This is a really really ignorant statement. Anyone who doesn't get this song or any other song of Noel's, just won't ever be happy with all of Noel's songs? Come on now, people can dislike or even hate one of his songs and yet still have an open mind and a separate opinion of other songs.

I don't think anyone gives a fuck about Karma but there's no way 8 sane people gave lgfavar K+ 8 times since I went to bed. They'd have to be borderline mental to agree with any of the shit he comes out with. He must have multiple accounts.

I don't see why this song has caused such a shitstorm. Very, very good to my ears. Surprised at the lack of guitar solo, but I don't think it suffers too much from it. Probably my least favorite of the three singles but I rate The Death Of You And Me and If I Had A Gun... very highly.

i think the previews and soundchecks are raising peoples hopes too much and they are expecting these tunes to have developed into masterpieces upon production/release and dissapointment is setting in when the tunes have barely changed. long gone are the days of getting an album on release day and have it blow you away due to not hearing anything first!

Sorry. I know I promise to ignore lgfaver. But LMAO at his delusional comments here!
I just think it's funny that he thinks people actually secretly agreeing with him.
He forgets all his stupid comments conveniently. 50% of the board hate TDOYAM. WAL sounds like Lady Gaga so it's wrong to like it. Liam should have sang TDOYAM. etc
Lgfaver...you don't have the respect of any significant proportion of the regulars just accept it...you are just to much of an lgfaver fanboy to realize it. I've never seen you legitimately give anyone a hard time in a valid way. Just tossing abuse willy nilly.
If you didn't have your dummy accounts you'd have less karma than beadyeyeunofficial. You don't fool anyone that's been around for any length of time.

i dont post often on here, but lgfaver required a reply, he spouted so much sh1t i had to respond to it.
its good that in the vote thread the song is averaging above 8, so means most love it which is great.

I hate Lady Gaga and her music and I wish she was dead because her music is destroying the world. But I like this song. Sure its poppy but its different enough from Gaga thats its not her. If it were, I'd fucking wanna kill Noel.

I musta been listening to a muted version y-day (different sites stream at different levels, all of the current rips are all-but guaranteed to be identical 128's), as the one I just streamed off NME this AM sounded considerably better (read: louder, more pronounced).
Still not in love with the woo-hoos, but there IS another 4 minutes to the song. 8/10 for me.

Great tune, best of the solo stuff he has released to date. The other songs have been boring Noel by numbers but this is a tune, personally I would have preferred it if he had kept the driving piano all the way through and it peters out a little in the last minute or so but this is the type of variety I've been banging on about hearing from him.
It's the type of up tempo tune that would have really suited Liam's voice

^ respectfully, I just don't understand how some of you can see Liam singing these. I just cannot.
"What a LiiiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIife."
just too edgy (in a bad way) on record and absolutely impossible live.
Live, prolly worse than LyyyyyyyyyyyyyLaaa if that's possible.

Im a bit late in this discussion but nevermind;) thats a horrible horrible song. a cross between some shitty chemical brothers remix and falling down, dunno what he was thinking. noel hasnt written a complete album in more than years and now we all know why. cuz he doesnt have the songs. his album will be alright but with one good song and two mediocre ones out of 10 its far from being a milestone. he is clearly recycling himself even more than in the past. tdoyam =iobi and aka wal=falling down+chem. broth. remix. a shame really.
PS: the death of you and me 6,5/10; If i had a gun 5,5/10; what a life 3/10; the good rebel 1/10 (one of his worst songs ever)
Beady Eye >> Noels efforts so far
