I'm quite sure he will be. It must be really weird, not talking to your brother for 2 years, and then hearing him release his singles, knowing that you sang on them as well, and you'd have released them together if it were not for the split.. Must be weird.. |

This song is great. I really enjoy the extended bit after the final chorus. It really ties it in.
Funny that everyone mentions the beginning reminds them of Wonderwall because of the guitar...the piano and general mood reminds me more of Gas Panic or The Masterplan.
Definitely one of Noel's best songs in the last few years. This is going to be a class album.

I give this song a 9/10. Vintage Noel. The production's a little iffy but the song itself is BEAUTIFUL.
Makes me think of a gorgeous girl...

It is very nice to know that the 10 songs on the AA album are brand new and not on NGHFB. The more new songs the better.

You just know that Liam would never admit he'd like Noel's stuff even if he did. Liam has complimented (admittedly back-handedly) Noels new songs a few times, you can hardly criticise him for cheekily remarking they'd sound better with him singing them. |

Does anyone else love the extended ending to the second chorus. It's just one of those "YES!!" moments I feel exactly the same way...he did the same thing in TDOYAM with the "watching my TV" part. This is my favorite thing about Noel songs. When you have a chorus as good as this one, you just don't want it to end, so when you hear the "my heart to be unbroken" line and the chorus starts up again, that's like the final knockout punch to a great song. |

also i'd give the people that host the radio show a good amount of credit. they were really respectful and seemed like good Oasis/Noel fans. and I agree with gmajor7 and shoes222 that last bit just lifts you higher than heaven.

Am I the only one that absolutely loves the way he sings "my eyes have always", just that slight difference from the soundcheck version makes all the difference. No your not every time I listen to it I hear that little difference and love it. I think this is going to be amazing live. |
