If he would shorten it, why not. It's not a bad song but I'd like not to fall asleep halfway a gig. I'd say it to My Big Mouth, I Hope, I Think, I Know, Be Here Now and It's Gettin' Better (Man!!), not for Magic Pie. I love the way Noel wrote this song, and for sure would be awesome at HFB' gigs. |

I always loved the sound of his voice during the first verse. Its a pretty good song but obviously goes on for way to long.

Fuck that. Make him play Shout it out loud, Idlers Dream, Revolution Song and One Way Road all in one go. I'm done then. Plus Angel Child and he don't even have play Dont Look Back In Anger or anything. Already a legendary gig.

I always loved the sound of his voice during the first verse. Its a pretty good song but obviously goes on for way to long. The truth about Magic Pie is: Incredible verse, average chorus. It's starts like the best song ever, but then the chorus starts and it goes nowhere. But i like it the way it is, has some special charm to it. |

Didn't know he played Shout It Out Loud ?! I'm checking it right now Wow, he did played that, didn't know. So just One Way Road. Good to know that Noel knows what's best for him to do  I'm a big fan of those b sides from Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, the whole album really. I think's it's one of his best periods even though he thinks otherway. |

There is so many better options from Be Here Now.
To me if Noel is going to play anything from that era it should be Stand By Me or Don't Go Away. 2 songs that every Oasis fan, including the casuals should know every word to.
Magic Pie would be as pointless as My Big Mouth was on the dig out your soul tour.
Yes, I know the word to every single song like I'm sure most do on here, but I was shocked at how My Big Mouth was greeted with almost bemusement at the 2008 gigs I went to like it was a new song.
This proved to me that these big arena gigs come with massive amounts of casual fans, so Magic Pie would go down like a led balloon.

Not sure about Magic Pie, but if there's one song from the Be Here Now period Noel needs to dust off, it's Going Nowhere. He should do that one at the Royal Albert Hall with a string section or choir.
