He needs to play it live, and he needs to do it with the full blown sound (and not give it the Wonderwall acoustic treatment). I have a real soft spot for this song. It's a cocaine induced epic. Of course it's not Noel at it's finest, but it gets way too much criticism...... What?! What is wrong with Acoustic Wonderwall? Next you'll want to nix Acoustic DLBIA... I don't think he was dissing the acoustic Wonderwall, he was just saying if Noel played Magic Pie he'd want it to be full band with electric guitars.

Magic Pie done acoustically would lose it's power, I think. Was actually listening to MP today on my way to work, and I remembered how much I love that tune (not that I forgot, you understand). magic pie would please the be here now lovers..and one gets the feeling noel would modify this tune with his high flying birds a bit ( edit the length if you will-maybe)
I have never heard Noel mention Magic pie after 1997

BUMP, so with Noelly G about to embark on a new tour I wonder if he will pull out any BHN tunes? I highly doubt it sadly but something like Stand By Me acoustic or even Fade In-Out would be good IMO. As for Magic Pie, it has to be one of the most unlikely tunes he would do live again - just like The Girl In The Dirty Shirt.

I've just check setlist fm, Noel played 17 oasis songs on the last tour, although 6 were only played twice at the very end of the tour.
Really I'd expect him to rotate the Oasis songs, he really needs to start capitalising on his huge back catalogue!
Saying that I'd be happy as anything as long as I see him play Slide Away again
